My ps3 keeps on saying your hard drive is corrupted

Likely, your HDD is corrupted. Before you attempt to reformat the HDD, and will thus lose all your information, if you have a spare laptop harddrive laying around, try swapping them -- the PS3 uses regular SATA HDDs. If that works, then the problem is with the original PS3 HDD, and needs to be formatted. If the new drive does not work either, then the problem is with the PS3 itself, and it will need to be serviced.
When the time comes to format the drive, check this article below --

My ps3 hard drive file system is corrupted

You will need to reformat the hard drive to the factory condition. After is says its corrupt it should give you the option to do so. If it will not format, then the hard drive has probably failed and a new one will be required. I have purchased several off of ebay and had the systems back up and running.

I have a corrupted file on my ps3 and it trys to repair it self after 30 seconds.it goes right back to the same screen. HELP!!!

Your problem may be more widespread than just that one file. The file system on your hard drive may be corrupt. You can try to reformat the entire hard drive in an attempt to remove all the errors in the PS3 data, or you can buy a new hard drive. You may have to replace the hard drive if the hard drive is failing, and therefore not reading or writing data properly.

To reformat the drive, in the PS3 menu:
NOTE: This will erase everything you saved on the hard drive.

1) Go to the Settings menu, then select System Settings.
2) Select Format Utility, then select Format Hard Disk.
3) Select Quick Format

To replace the Hard Drive, buy any 2.5 inch notebook hard drive that has a serial ATA connection. Then remove the old hard drive from the left side of the PS3 and install the new hard drive.

After installing the new Hard Drive you will need to format the drive. When you turn on the PS3, you will see onscreen instructions to help you with this.

The hard disks file system is corrupted.

If you can still access the PS3 menu, then reformat your hard drive by going to:

Settings > System Settings > Format Utility > Format Hard Disk

If you cannot, then you can try:
1) Remove the Hard drive, connect it to a PC and reformat it.
2) Download the latest PS3 operating system from the Playstation website and store it on a USB drive. Then insert the USB drive into the PS3 and start the PS3, and then install the operating system from the USB.

Saying hard disk corrupt then restores but game freezes

Is this a game on your hard drive or a CD? If it is on your hard drive then it quite possibly had a bad download OR your hard drive is on its last leg.

"the hard disk's file system is corrupted and will be restored"

Ok, it appears that your hard drive in your PS3 is corrupt and needs to be reformatted. You can get an external hard drive enclosure and do it yourself. You would have to take the hard drive out of your PS3 and put it in the external hard drive enclosure and plug that into a computer with the supplied USB cable and format it. From what I'm reading out there, the external hard drive enclosure has to be for SATA 2.5" hard drive.             You could probably replace the hard drive with a larger one just as easy if you wanted to. If you don't feel comfortable with any of this, then its probably repair shop time. I hope this helps.moreover,,Use your recovery disc to reinstall your operating system. This should clean up your hard drive and restore any missing or corrupt files.
