How to replace battery braun shaver series 1

I don't know about this specific model of Braun shaver (I have a Braun Model 7526).

I have looked at the instructions for a couple of models of Braun Shaver, and the instructions are similar so it may help you to replace the batteries in yours.

Here is one of the instructions:
Braun 7526 battery problem
http://www.fixya.com/support/t1171024-braun_7526_battery_problem

Open the shaver:
1) Use a small flat screw driver pry off the bottom (where the cord plugs in)
2) Remove the silver sides
3) Using a small torq driver remove the 4 screws
4) Open shaver
5) Remove circuit board with batteries
6) Remove and replace circuit board with batteries (or solder in the new batteries)

And here is a link to instructions for a few different ones:

Norelco Maverick T-3000 batter replacement

Yes, the batteries are replaceable. If you feel comfortable desoldering the old batteries and are competent enough to resolder new batteries look for them on the Radio Shack website. There are also online small applicance repair sites that will sell replacements for around $9.00. If you are not comfortable doing the soldering, Batteries Plus will solder the new ones in place. The total is less than $15.00 at my local store.

How do you replace a battery on a Braun 7680 Shaver?

I replace my Bruan 7680 battery. I place the order for battery from Amazon, cutter& foil from goodmans.net. The following is my procedure 1.Using a small flat screw driver to plier the plastic socket lock (Where the charging located ) 2.Disassemble left and right plastic holder 3.Disassemble plastic cover top and bottom 4.Take out the circuit board where the battery mounted on. Please be careful at this process you could ruin the circuit board while taking the old battery out(I used a soldering and a small wood stick just to take the extra flux away from contact to other on the circuit board). It is not as difficult as I thought. 5.During your install a new battery please make sure that the batter pole does not go the same way(Check direction of a battery before taking it out so you do not put in the wrong direction) 6.Putting them back together. Note #special tool required to take out the circuit board from a mounting? My the battery replacement came with the tool)

Can I change a battery in my philips hq7300 shaver

Philips STRONGLY recommends you do not insert any other battery into the razor, whether it be a normal battery, or a rechargeable battery. If your product is still under warranty you may be able to get a replacement.

Does not keep its charge.I was hoping to fit new batteries and I have no manual for my phillishave HQ5812

The manual does not show you how to replace the battery as it is not intended for the user to change. To change, first remove the two screws on the back to remove the back cover and access the battery. For easiest replacement, it is suggested that you use a modified installation technique. This is to break the tabs off of the old batteries rather than unsoldering them from the circuit board. This allows the old batteries to be removed but leaves the tabs attached to the circuit board. You can then solder the tabs from the new batteries to the old existing tabs

You will find the correct battery for your model at shaveroutlet.com. See link below

How to change batteries?

mcdevito75 here, There are 2 versions of batteries in Norelco shavers 1 system is where the batteries are soldered to a circuit board in which case you"d have to replace the shaver or find an appliance repair shop in your area, The 2nd is where you can replace the batteries your self but, you;ll need a set od torx screwdrivers available at any auto parts store, refer to Norelco online at Norelco.com for Battery replacement. Look for these torx screws on the back cover or by lifting the shaver head .

Replace battery

Depends on waht kind of shaver do you have. I just changed battery in my remington R650. There are 6 screws to hold the shaver together and they are all hinden. Step 1 to take off the shaver blade assembly on top. It is very easy because it is linked by a wire spring. Two scews will revealed and took them out using a philips screw driver. Then take top black part off then threw shafts to drive the blades will come off together. Then took the trim off. It will take some time. I have to take a piece by piece. Then take two red plastic covers pieces off which will reveal 4 screws under it. I use thin knife to pry them off. After you take off 4 screws, the shaver will be open. You will see the two NiCd 600amh batteres connected serial inside the shaver. They are soldered through wires to the PCB.

Can I get replacement batteries for my Norelco 7735X shaver?

I have replaced batteries in several Norelco shavers, typically ending up with better end performance than with the original batteries.

Norelco shavers typically utilize two AA sized NiCad batteries with thin tabs spot welded on each end and the tabs soldered into the circuit board internally.

I have had best success with utilizing Sanyo Eneloop AA batteries, see http://www.google.com/products?q=Sanyo+Eneloop+AA+batteries&hl=en&scoring=p, which are NiMH cells with low self-discharge (i.e. hold their charge for over 6 months) and are free of the memory effects and internal self-shorting problems of NiCad cells.

The key to successfully changing the cells is to leave the original solder tabs on the circuit board and utilize the edge of a single edge razor blade (with great care) rocked back and forth between the metal tab and each of the ends (one at a time) of the original batteries so as to cut the spot weld free from the original batteries while saving the tab.

A single razor blade should do the job, though the blade will now be largely ruined for any further use.

Next carefully flatten the tabs (will be a little deformed by the spot weld break strategy).

Next carefully tin both the tabs and the ends of the new NiMH cells with a small amount of solder.

This tinning is not easy unless you use this strategy: Utilize small drops of "Harris Stay-Clean liquid" soldering flux, a clear (looks like water) zinc chloride liquid flux, e.g. dip a tooth pick into the flux and use just the small droplet of liquid flux which runs off the tooth pick onto the metal. After the flux is where you want the solder, touch a heated soldering iron tip already coated with a tiny amount of rosin core flux for electronic circuit joint soldering to the pre-fluxed area and the metal will easily and rapidly tin with solder.

For the new batteries, use only a tiny droplet of Stay-Clean flux right where you want the solder and touch the costed and heated soldering iron tip to the battery for just 1-2 seconds so as to minimize chances for any damage to the new batteries.

Once happy with the tinning of both the (saved) original batter tabs and the new batteries, hold the new battery in position and briefly touch the soldering iron against the tabs to push it into the battery end and fuse the two areas already tinned with solder.

I does take a little practice to get the above and physical alignments correct. It is helpful, though not mandatory, to use a temperature controlled soldering iron (e.g. set to about 500 F) with a fairly small tip.

Be sure to keep the Harris Stay-Clean flux, even fumes sealed in storage (I usually enclose the Stay-Clean bottle in a clear screw cap larger bottle) because just invisible fumes from this flux on any nearby iron or steel surfaces, over time, will promote rapid rusting. The Stay-Clean is a great product, just be careful with it during handling and storage.
