I manage to get the manual from Venturer. Google it. I am in UK and I have to phone them and than get them to send the manual by pdf to my email address. No charge. Easy.
The older ones are not on their listing.
If you have any problem come back to me and I will look it up for you.

i have a portable dvd venturer pvs 1262 / no manual for troubleshooting. when i plug in the ac adapter the red light turns on, then the green light turns on. but then will immediatly turn off. i can see the screen start to light up..but still no screen.. the dvd disc will not spin at all. can you give me any troubleshooting advise. or a site that can help me? thankyou in advance

I'm a bit confused.. what is not working? the whole venture unit? or just the dvd not playing the disc?
If its the DVD player not playing the disc, I advise you clean the lens of the player? You could use an ordinary lens cleaner that you can buy from any video store..
But, I do recommend you self clean the lens with a cotton bud moistened with alcohol. It's much better for cleaning the lens. You'll just need to open the cover of the player to access the mechanical loading disc tray where the lens is located.
