I am trying to find an Infra Red Blaster for my video sender. The senders are working fine. Only my 2 year old decided to break the little black connector. Am not well up on the internet to be able to source one of these cables. And don't know the exact keywords to use for locating one of these cables.

check that you have the sender plugged into the sky box and the receiver into the required tv and not the other way round. The wrong way round still allows the controller to change channels but you will see nothing also ensure that both sender and reciever are on same channel 1 to 4
IF there is a scart port plug your av receiver into the scart. Take note on which number your on ie channel there should be several numbers you can choose on your tx/rx then go down stairs to your sky box and ensuring that you are on the same number as the one upstairs.
Then just plug it into the back of your sky Box.. the number on your sender are incase your getting interfearance from other sources in the home. have a play with this and see what works best
ok these are called phono leads, yellow = video, red = left sound, white = right sound.
you need one of these http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=13372 there are 2 types, inputs and outputs, this one does both, (you need an output. sky to sender) let me know if this looks right for u
Most equipment that is common to everyone has a menu to change the remote address. This is different from the code. I'm not familular with your spacific box, so this might not avalible for you in which case stand outside you neighbors house and change their channel. Wait to see what they do. This may be cheaper if you can't just change the address. Haha
place one extenteder in the location of all your components, i.e. dvd player, vcr, cable box. make sure the extender can see the front of each component. this extender should also be the one without the infra red eye extension(skinny cable with red eye on one end). place the other extender near your tv or any place that is near where your remote(s) will be used. plug in the eye. usually it has 2sided tape on it so u can put it on the corner of the tv or frame of a door, (basically some general location u can point the remote(s) to. make sure you plug up the power source. WALA!! point your remotes at the eye and it will send the signals to your components where ever they may be.
Could be that the Scart socket doesn't pass through the signals from the receiver. I had a Goodmans TV with Scart input which just didn't respond to the receiver. When I moved it to the Scart connector on my VCR it worked a treat.
