Washing cycle Every time you put your clothes in the washer, pull your slide out tray, put in the washing powders in and start your cycle no matter if it's the cleaning cycle or the whitest whites or just your average load half way through the load it stops washing and all the lights around each cycle you start blinking and it just stops washing!

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question%^&^%$

Hoover six 1300 washing machine what do I put in the tray?. and in what order?.

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Methinks you could do with a manual- for now and probably later ;-

Manual
You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make model number) washer manual' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount.
You could also try the manufacturer's web site direct ;-0)

What goes where
A quick and easy way to find out which tray is which is to pull the detergent drawer out just so that you can see into it. Start a pre-wash (if the washjer has one) and see where the water runs in- that's where the pre-wash powder goes. Advance to the main wash and observe- that is for the main wash powder. Finally start a rinse cycle and where the water goes in is where the conditioner/softener goes.
In a few cases I have come across, the pre-wash tray shares with the conditioner/softener part but the pre-wash powder goes in the front and the softener in the back.
You can put them all in at the same time before you start the wash cycle.

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Sorry but I have to ask if you are putting the powder and softener into the correct compartments?

The washing powder is still in the dispenser at the end of the full wash??

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
See if the water is actually running into the washing powder tray by using these guidance notes (written for another problem!).

Now if the water is NOT pouring into the washing powder tray an engineer call is required ;-0(

Musty smell from detergent tray area of hotpoint wf860 washing machine.

hi the smell is bactiria build up from inside the appliance,if you open the door and slightly pull back the seal you will proberly see a build up of washing powder that starts to rott, which causes the smell.you can either purchase a washing machine cleaner or put in some soda crystals on a hot wash with no clothes or any other detergents.
you may need to do this a couple of times at first but once the cause has been solved you only need to do it once a month.

Put washing powder in tray ,machine doing wash but leaving large residue of powder

Don't put the powder in the tray. Select you wash cycle, let the water run into the washing machine, then add the powder. The powder should dissolve before you put your clothes inside the machine. Let the washing machine fill up to almost half way and add clothes. This should stop the clothes from getting the residue powder on it.

Crosley CAWC529JQ1 top load washer LEAVES LINT ON CLOTHING

try washing on a shorter time as this washer may have too good of wash action and the lint is fabric coming off your clothing
add more soap powder and do not buy the cheapest soap as the soap is important in the washing cycle of your machine
towels that are not too soiled brobably need 6 minutes at most on wash
if this machine has a delicate wash cycle use that for tee shirts etc
water pressure is important in rinse cycles
do you have high pressure and water only trickles in check water inlets on back of machine where the hoses screw on
good luck
