Check to make sure tat Parental Controls in the email client are OFF.

Another way is to use a free mail service such as yahoo.com or mail.com.

With the page you want to send link to open in one browser window or tab, open the free email in another tab and compose your message.

When you want to insert the link to the page you are sending, click on that tab, right-click in address bar, and choose "copy".

Now go back into mail site, right-click in message body, and select "paste".

The link should now mail without incident.

Good luck !!

Phishing "Protect urself" Know What Hackers Do !This is a featured page

Phishing continues to be one of the most significant security threats facing Internet users. During 2007, scammers distributed millions of phishing scam emails that targeted many different entities. Phishing attacks are sure to continue in 2008 and scammers will use such attacks to steal money and identities from many new victims around the world. Armed with a little knowledge about how phishing scams work, however, you can ensure that you do not become one of these victims. phishing-scammer.jpg
Phishing scammers continue to find new victims all around the world

A phishing scam is one in which victims are tricked into providing personal information such as account numbers, passwords and credit card details to what they believe to be a legitimate company or organization. In order to carry out this trick, the scammers often create a "look-a-like" webpage that is designed to resemble the target company's official website. Typically, emails are used as "bait" in order to get the potential victim to visit the bogus website. The emails use various devious ruses to trick readers into clicking on the included links, thereby opening the bogus website. Information submitted on these bogus websites is harvested by the scammers and may then be used to steal funds from the user's accounts and/or steal the victim's identity.

Phishing scam emails are created to give the illusion that they have been sent by a legitimate institution. Emails may arrive in HTML format and include logos, styling, contact and copyright information virtually identical to those used by the targeted institution. To further create the illusion of legitimacy, some of the secondary links in these bogus emails may lead to the institution's genuine website. However, one or more of the hyperlinks featured in the body of the email will point to the fraudulent website.

Links in phishing scam messages are often disguised to make it appear that they lead to the genuine institution site. The sender address of the email may also be disguised in such a way that it appears to have originated from the targeted company. Because they are sent in bulk to many recipients, scam emails use generic greetings such as "Dear account holder" or "Dear [targeted institution] customer". If an institution needed to contact a customer about some aspect of his or her account, the contact email would address the customer by name.

Cannot send e-mail

Email Will Receive but Will Not Send b> According to the Radicati Group, a technology market research company, over 107 trillion emails were sent in 2010 -- that's roughly 294 billion emails a day. Moreover, the company estimates that there will be 3.8 billion email accounts by 2014. With so much activity, some users are sure to run into trouble when trying to send a message. If you are receiving emails but can't send them, it may be due to a number of issues, most of which you can quickly fix on your own.
SMTP Authentication b> Many email clients and providers require that your outgoing email messages are authenticated by an SMTP server prior to being sent. This authentication process adds an additional level of security and helps prevent junk mail from being sent out. If you have SMTP authentication disabled, however, your email will not be authenticated and will not be sent, even though you may still receive emails. To fix this issue, enable SMTP authentication by placing a checkmark next to the option in your email client or provider's Settings menu. b> Port 25 Blocking Port 25 is the port that is used to send email. Whenever you attempt to send an email, the email is routed through port 25 and the data is transmitted to remote email servers. If this port is blocked, you will be able to receive email but you will not be able to send it. Some Internet service providers block this port on their servers, so if you suspect that you are unable to send email because of port 25 blocking, contact your ISP and request that the port be unblocked. No Default Email Account b> If you do not have a default email account set up on your email client, and you haven't selected a specific account when composing the message, the client will not be able to deliver your email. A sent email must always be tied to an email account to protect other email users. To remedy this issue, specify a default account in the email client's Account Settings menu, or specify which account you want to send the email from when composing the message. b> Anti-Virus/Anti-Spam Scanner b> If you have an anti-virus or anti-spam scanner installed on your computer or as a plugin for your email client, it may be preventing your emails from being sent. This happens when the scanner times out while scanning an email for viruses or spam content, or when it detects what it believes to be a virus or spam while scanning the message. To remedy this issue, disable the anti-spam or anti-virus program, then send the message as normal.
Hope this helps.

I can't find out how to send an instant message

Oh, its simple. In a nutshell you need to download and install yahoo messenger. Once you've done that, you need to include the person you want to send a instant message to as one of your contacts or friends. You do that by getting their email address and putting it in your contact, buddy or friend list. Once you have it there you will click on it and send them a instant message. Now I think the first time you send them one they will have to approve you as someone they want to receive messages from by accepting or rejecting your IM. Oh, and they on the other end would need your email address included in their contact, friend or buddy list.

I just want to begin writing e-mails. I have my e-mail address now how do I get up the e-mail format to write to friends?. I have phoned my close friend to write an e-mail to me so that I can reply and...

Firstly, who is your email account with..? if your account is with your Internet service provider, ask them which email software they would prefer you use. Most providers use Outlook or outlook express which is installed with Windows so go to Start and click on the Outlook express icon in the start menu. If you have not already done so, outlook will ask you to enter your email details like your account or email name and password etc and once done, you will then be able to download and read your mail.. If you are using a third party email service like Hotmail or Yahoo, use whichever browser you have and goto their website and click onto their mail login, enter your login details and your email inbox will appear, click on the emails you wish to read and off ya go !!!
Have fun..

I dont know the way how to email to thai kises

I assume that you are using Yahoo Mail. On your internet explorer address bar type www.yahoo.com when the site open choose yahoo mail from the list of links on the left. The mail login page open, enter your yahoo ID and password. Your mail should open at this point, choose inbox to see the mails you have. To send a new mail, from your inbox choose new, enter the address of the person you want to send the mail to and then the subject. Type your message and click the send to send the mail.

To reply a mail sent to you, open the mail, click on reply or just press "r" type your message and the click send.

Can't send links

Try dropping the HyperTextTransferProtocol (HTTP://), or you can just send the link with an apostrophe ' in front of the link
'http://www.yahoo.com

People will get it and it won't be highlighted nor underlined.

Can you tell me why it is that I no longer can receive certain of my email contacts? For instance, my son has been sending me email for several years. Suddenly, I no longer receive his email. This is...

The most likely reason is that an anti-spam service/product has blocked them. For example, it could be one of:
  • Your ISP has implemented a spam-blocking service which regards the addresses your son's/friend's emails are coming from as spammers
  • A new version of your anti-virus software has been installed, perhaps as part of an auto-update, and this now includes an anti-spam component which is behaving as above.
  • Your email client program (e.g. Outlook Express, Thunderbird) has been updated, again perhaps automatically, and it has an over-zealous spam filter.
