Verify that the printer is getting a good IP address.
Then go to the Control Panel >printer and Faxes>click on your printer.
Then ports . There check to make sure that the printer is showing up next to the box that has the same IP address as your printer. If it does not , put a check mark in the box with the IP address. Then try to print a test page.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Hi, you can print a configuration page from the C6180 by following these steps:

- Press the Setup button on the printer's operation panel
- Using the down arrow button, scroll down until you see Network, then press OK.
- Scroll down again until you see View Network Settings, then press OK.
- Scroll down until you see Print Network Configuration Page, then press OK.

Look through the menus on the device for printing a "Network Configuration Page"
Look for "Hardware Address" on the page that prints out.

Hope this helps you!

My C7280 HP photosmart will not scan to my computer.  I get the message "no scan options"

I have had a similar problem that appeared soon after an automatic HP software update over the internet. I solved the problem by uninstalling and reinstalling the HP software that came with the CD. I inserted the CD and ran the de-install for only the program that controlled print and scan and then re-installed the software for print and scan. Straight afterwards, the scanning started to work again

Blank sheet before each printed page

Here's a simple solution. It's easy! Instead of it being the C7280 - it's the C7250 - should be the same driver however. Good Luck!
