Cut or copy the driver zip file and go up a few levels and paste it on the desktop or in a folder on the desktop or in a folder in my docs and unzip ALL the files to this new folder and run setup. I had same problem. For some reason if you save the file 3-4 or more folder inside a folder inside a folder ect (you know...try to be organized?) it won't run. Whats more if you were to just move the SETUP.exe file and not the other folders (such as DATA) the install would start asking you for files that ARE in the data folder, asking you to point to them. If you did it would act like it couldn't see them...Why? I have no idea....all I know is once i moved EVERYTHING (all the files from the zip)up to the Desktop or a level below it like My docs, C drive etc it ran immediately and saw all files. You can run that SETUP and/or use add printer from control panel > printers and faxes

I lost my cd , how can i download the software to my new computer?

1. Open your web browser. Click the address bar and type in the website where your driver can be found. You can get this information from your service provider or the manufacturer's website. If you prefer to locate a website on your own, you can do a search using your router's brand name and model number.
2. Scroll down the list of drivers until you locate the brand and model for your router. Click the link that matches your operating system (e.g. Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7).
3. Click "Save" or 'Save As" in the dialog box that pops up. Pay attention to the folder destination and the saved file name. You have now started to download the driver. When the download is complete, close your browser.
4. Click "Start" on your desktop, choose "Control Panel' in the menu, then double click "Add/Remove Programs." Scroll down to your router from the list of installed programs, highlight it, and click "Remove/Change" to uninstall the current drivers.
5. Open the folder that contains the downloaded driver. If the file is zipped you will need to extract the file using your zip program or Windows (If you do not have a zip program, please see the Resources section for some suggestions). Once you have unzipped the file, find the folder and double click the icon for setup. It should have an .exe extension, or mention that it is a setup file. This will start the Windows Install Manager.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions of the wizard. Once you have selected the installation folder, your installation of the updated router driver will begin.

I need ethernet driver for EMACHINES T2682

This system comes preinstalled with Windows XP and only XP drivers a re available for download. They are not guaranteed to work with Win 7 or Vista but may.

The Ethernet driver or LAN (realtec) driver can be downloaded by clicking here.

  1. Its a zip file, extract it in any folder.
  2. There are three files, one of which is .INF file.
  3. To install the LAN driver open Device Manager from Control Panel.
  4. Locate the ethernet controller.
  5. Right-click on it and select Upgrade Driver.
  6. Choose to install manually.
  7. Then select pick driver from computer.
  8. Browse to the folder and point the installation to the INF file. It will install it automatically.
You can also find other (audio, video etc) drivers on this website. Just select your desired computer from the list.

My Qiuckcam v11.8 is windows xp, vista . and it not working properly with windows 7

Here is how to Install them so they work. Download your XP driver you wish to install. If it's in a zip/rar file then extract it to your desktop. You should have a simple .exe file sitting on your desktop to install the drivers, as normal for XP. Right click the .exe file and select "Properties". Then select the tab called "Compatibility" Now check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" Make sure "Windows XP Service Pack 2" is highlighted. Now apply the settings and run the installer. This should work for most drivers, but not all

I got a ge easy cam maodel no. HO98063, and i don't have the cd to install it. do you have a free installation so i can see my husband . he is in another country

Click on this link. The driver will pop-up on your screen. Download the driver (click save). This is a zip file.

You'll need to unzip it.
To unzip the file, first - right click on your desktop and choose, New' then choose, 'Folder'. Name the folder, Web Cam Drivers.'

Next, right click on the file you just downloaded and click, 'Extract'. (if you have a zip program.) then locate the folder you just created named, 'Web Cam Drivers' and click OK.

The zip files will be extracted to this folder. Next, find the file with the .exe extension (or labeled run) and click on it to install the drivers. (Note: after downloading the drivers, you may need to restart your computer.

After restart, locate the web cam icon: Start > All Programs (then look for your web cam program and click on it.) That should get you going. Just follow the on screen instructions after that.

The files will

unzip it. Then install the driver.

BROTHER HL1440

Why would you need WinZIP? Zip handling is built into Windows XP. The driver from Brother is a Self-extracting archive, meaning you don't need third-party software to open it, just double-click it and select a destination for the file extraction. Then, when you open this particular extracted folder, you'll see many different folders named Disk1, Disk2, and so on. Open the folder Disk1, double-click the SETUP icon, and there you go - the driver installation starts.

The driver file you need is right here: http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/bsc/public/us/us/en/dlf/dlf/000000/002400/dlf002431.html?reg=us&c=us&lang=en&prod=hl1440_all&type2=1&os=7&flang=4&dlid=dlf002431

Just COPY & PASTE that address into your browser's address bar and Voila! click DOWNLOAD.
