Newstsmom- follow the steps below to slow down the speed at which you send the fax as the recipient machine seems to be a little old or incapable to handle the data rate. It may be the phone line too. These steps are to be followed on the frontpanel of the all in one.

People have problems when the instructions are incorrect. I as well should have read the instructions that were provided to make sure they were complete/correct.
Here are the steps in their entirety.

Press * and # at the same time, and then release both keys

Press 1, 2, and then 3, releasing each key before pressing the next.

The display window should read "Service" with a revision number.

Press the right arrow button once.

The display should read "System Configuration".

Press Enter.

Press the right arrow button until "r/w parameter" appears in the display.

Press Enter

The display should read "parameter 0"

Type in 153.

Press "Enter"

Type in 10.

Press "Enter"

Type in 159.

Press "Enter"

Type in 10.

Press "Enter"

Press "cancel" repeatedly until you are back at the date and time.

Let me know what happens.

Do not know how to scan multiple pages on the HP 6110 all in one Office jet. Please advise, Thank you, Andres

Hi

Click right mouse on the scanner icon and then change the file setting of your scanned file. Change it to pdf file not jpeg to scan in multiple pages. Another is by changing pdf to jpeg using the printer itself. Use the LCD screen menu to navigate.

Another way if you can install ADOBE ACROBAT READER PRO SOFTWARE, you can scan with multiple pages. Regads

How do I fix an "error 442" on the fax part of my hp 6110 all-in-one

Per HP:

Definition

An error occurred during transmission after one or more partial pages were sent. The sending machine was unable to restart the control channel connection(handshake) before sending more data. This error typically occurs when the receiving fax disconnects after receiving part of a page. It can also be caused if the receiving fax is using a fax format incompatible with the HP fax (usually during color faxing).

Solution

Try the fax at a different time when telephone line conditions have improved.

Please help me send a fax on my HP 5610

Send a fax
You can send a fax in a variety of ways. Using the control panel, you can send a blackand-
white or color fax from your HP All-in-One. You can also send a fax manually
from an attached phone. This allows you to speak with the recipient before sending
the fax.
If you frequently send faxes to the same numbers, you can set up speed dial entries.
For more information on setting up speed dial entries, see Set up speed dialing.
Send a basic fax
You can easily send a single- or multiple-page black-and-white fax by using the
control panel, as described here. If you want to send a color or photo fax, see the
onscreen HP Image Zone Help.
Note If you need printed confirmation that your faxes were successfully sent,
enable fax confirmation before sending any faxes. For more information, see
Print fax confirmation reports.
Tip You can also send a fax manually from a phone or by using monitor
dialing. These features allow you to control the pace of your dialing. They are
also useful when you want to use a calling card to charge the call and you
need to respond to tone prompts while dialing. For more information, see Send
a fax manually from a phone or Send a fax using monitor dialing.
1. Load your originals, with the print side up, into the document feeder tray. If you
are sending a single-page fax, such as a photograph, you can also load your
original on the glass.
Note If you are sending a multiple-page fax, you must load the originals
in the document feeder tray. You cannot fax a multiple-page document
from the glass.
2. Press Fax.

Faxing multiple pages

If it's only one page.. just place it on the glass face down.
When faxing muliple pages you must place them in the automatic document feeder located on top of the machine.
Place all originals print side up (up to 35 pages). A message will show up in the display letting you know original were loaded up properly. Let me know it this helps.
