Question about Kenmore Elite 45986 Front Load Washer
I keep getting a code FH which i have the followed what the manual says to do but the I still get the FH code. What do I do?
There is a filter at the bottom of the unit that sometimes needs cleaned. You have to take of the bottom panel to get at it. It looks like a cylinder and you have to turn it counterclockwise.
If there is water in the unit, be prepared for some to spill.
You will likely find change...pencils, pens, and so on in this.
I've owned mine for 5 years and just found this out in the last week...
Hopefully that will fix your issue ;-)

Hello & Welcome to FixYa
FH error is displayed when the control detects no water entering the machine. To clear this error press and hold the PAUSE/CANCEL button twice. You can then check if the water inlet valve is fine and not clogged with foreign particles, try to clean it. If the water inlet valve appears to be fine then check if the pressure switch hose is properly connected to the pressure switch & tub. Please get back to me if you have any questions.
