Seems like a ton of people are having issues with this toastmaster product, the OEM is no help?

You can send me the gear and I can quote making you a new one, same with belts, whatever, we fab parts all the time for tons of special devices,

call the OEM first if not write me at and I will see what I can do for toastmaster owners

How do you get balance shaft drive sprockets off?

You need to remove the balance shafts first. Be VERY careful or you will end up breaking off the tab that the small hold down bolt goes through. You need to remove this little bolt first of course. I found that using a pry bar on the bottom of the sprocket itself seemed to work best.
Once you have the balance shaft out, clamp it in a vise using wood or something similar so that you do not damage any if the surface that rides on the bearing. Then remove the 15 mm bolt holding the gear (sprocket) on. Re-install the new gear and torque to 37 ft-lbs. The new gear is slotted so it can only go on one way. Do not mix up the intake & exhaust balance shaft gears. Good luck.

My interrupter cup keeps flying off on my craftsman garage door opner model 139.53648srt1

This sometimes happens after changing a drive gear. If this is the case follow the instructions below.

You probably did not have the motor shaft pushed all the way back when you tightened the coupler after replacing the worm gear. Loosen that coupler up and from the front of the motor (opposite end in which the coupler is on) push the shaft back as far as it will go. Hold it there while you tighten the coupler back up and then try it.

If you didn't just change the drive gear you will find the motor shaft is moving towards the rear and knocking the interrupter cup off. Replacing the drive gear with the new coupler and washers will cure this problem.

The starter on my XV750SE dont get in gear. The starter runs but does not turn the engine. But it works ok with sparkplugs remowed.

the starter gear is a series of rollers, that grab a smooth drive, it will spin the motor with no plugs cause its easier. will need new rollers, and a new drive if it has marks on it. there are also some rubber bushes the shafts spin in, that may look ok but can allow the shaft to move slightly, which can affect the rollers from grabbing

Gear slipping in dewalt dw056

Those gears are only held on the motor with their tight fit, if yours is slipping that easily the motor will have to be replaced. The new motor will have that gear on it.

Broken gear on BFP-703 base

The drive is replacable and available from Cuisinart, you will have to sign a waver to get the part. the drive is screwed onto the motor shaft with reverse threads. the plastic drive will have to be completely broken off of the unit to expose a brass"nut" which was internal to the drive. depending upon your model you may have to remove the lower half of the base unit to access the lower part of the motor shaft. there will be a slot in the end of the shaft for a large flat blade screwdriver. this is used to hold the shaft still while turning the drive "nut" with a vice grip pliar or similar. the new drive is just threaded onto the shaft and normal operation tightens it.
