Question about Audio Players & Recorders
My behringer europower pmh660m power amp wont power up cant even seem to find a fuse ,,,thanks michael
All amps have fuses [multiples]. Check where the black wire line connects to the unit itself. Look carefully as it may be sealed within that connection. A small, sharp object may be used to pry it open [unplug unit prior]. Fuses are usually located on the PCB and although they may not resemble the "glass type" they also look like little resistors. A DVM is your best bet in which to troubleshoot this problem, otherwise you are just doing a simple visual with no true direction.
Even the main transformer (primary windings) are thermally fused. Using a meter, check the primary for an open as well as the secondary. Should you have an open on the trans, it will be a costly fix. All depends on what happened when the amp stopped working. Overdrive? Underdrive? lalalalala
