SOURCE: Radio Code for 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage DE
you can take your car to any Mitsubishi dealership (service department) and ask for the code. Usually, they will ask for identification to verify you are the owner of the car. This usually just includes your drivers license and registration card. Sometimes, the dealership will want to physically see the car before they give you the code. But if you don't know the code, the dealership is the only place to get it. Your owners manual will give you the procedure for entering the code once you get it.

Thanks for the advice. I called dealers in my area for a year for the code and they were of no help. They just wouldn't take the time to look it up. I called a car dealer out in California (that was recommended on the internet) and within TWO MINUTES he gave me the code. I would DEFINITELY buy a car from them if I lived out in CA. Great customer service!!!!
