If you did the web searches looking for instructions on how to unlock the GM "Theftlock" system and they did not work for you, you likely have the "RDS" radio they talk about. Those you can only get unlocked at a dealership.

Locked radio

You have to go to a chevy dealership to have them unlock the radio. They use a special code that will unlock the radio and then allows you to pick a new code. Hope this helps.

This may sound silly but place the actual key in the drivers door and cycle locked and unlock this should reset the security system.

Hi.
Go to your local dealer and ask them to unlock the radio, changing the battery or removing any post from the battery will render theft deterrent radios to the locked state.
And your dealer has the key needed to unlock the radio.

2000 Audi A6 Quattro Concert Radio

i'm not familar with that particular radio.... but try unhooking the battery for about ten minutes then hook the battery up again.... it should be fine.
