Creative Zen 4 gig doesn't start when I click on its icon

When I turn on my computer it has stopped opening the Creative Zen 'home' page when I click on the icon. When the Dell Inspiron 5100 I'm using detects that the player is attached and the icon also appears in the bottom right of my window, a screen called 'Auto Execute' comes up. It asks if I would always like Windows to perform the same function - but there is a blank where it should show the function. So you either say OK or Annuler. (it's in French you see). Either way the egg timer ticks for 2 seconds then the computer ignores my request and puts its feet up for a cup of tea. Now what should I do? Re load the CD and loose the 3 GB of music I have there? I'd hate to do that.
