I am using Canon A710is digital camera. it is showing low battery error ever I had changed regular battries & camera's internal cell also. I use only Duracel Alkaline batteries, inspite of that it is showing same problem. due to this i am unable to use Zoom facility.

SOURCE: Battery Low with NiMH (won't turn on) OK with Alkaline

Not the camera obviously - works OK Replace the NiMah batteries- get several sets and keep one set in the bag charged with one set in the camera. You may be able to 'refresh' the original batteries by putting them into a small flashlight and running them until the bulb goes out. This discharges them completely- then recharge. It is said batteries have a 'memory' so that a battery that is down say 50% and recharged will only recharge that 50% and the other 50% is lost for use. So you have to flatten the batteries completely

SOURCE: Camera shows low Battery and goes off even if u insert a new one

are you using NiMh rechargeable batteries?
If yes, check that they are fully charged. If that doesn't do the trick, sounds like it might be a power circuit issue. Samsung is in Secaucus, NJ
or SamsungUSA on the web

I have the same problem with mine!! Had it about 14 months now too!! Glad I'm not the only one... I don't know what to do! I have gotten brand new rechargeable batteries and instead of getting 250 shots, I only get like 20!

SOURCE: the double aa bateries die out very quickly, i'm

Check your camera settings , set it so the display doesnt
run all the time .
Some cameras eat batterys fast , lithium batterys are
best if thats the case , or high capacity rechargables.

With fresh batterys after a few shots camera shows low battery and auto shuts down

i am afraid u are using a low mAh rating battery. u have not mentioned the type of battery ur using. most digital cameras will use batteries with at least 700mAh rating. if it is AA size battery use 1300mAh rating or more if u want to capture videos as well.

My canon A710IS shows the battery low light after a couple of minutes when it has new batteries in it.

1. use alkaline batteries or rechargeable NiMH batteries
2. you may need to clean and adjust the springs inside the battery compartment

Canon EOS Rebel K2 constant low battery indicator light

Canon also uses the low battery Icon as a generic error code. Try taking the lens off the camera. If this fixes the problem the lens needs a repair (most likely the aperture unit). If not then the camera needs the repair (either the shutter or dc-dc converter circuit).

Low Battery

Could be a few things.
1) What kind of batteries are you using? Try NiMH batteries, not alkaline.
2) If that doesn't work - the best batteries are lithium rechargeable.
3) If THAT doesn't work - you may have a bad battery sensor, in which case you'll need to bring it to the nearest camera repair shop and have them replace it for you - it's not a huge deal, but it's better than having to switch off the camera for an hour or so, take a few pix, than switch it on again, and so on.
