Question about HP OfficeJet 7410 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Have been scanning all last week with no problems, this week it says I need to install HP software. There has been no problems with the PC in between. Do I need to completely reload software, or is there a quick fix
I get the same thing when I try to scan but there is a work-around: Get a memory card and stick it in one of those many card slots on the right front of the printer. Then when you hit "scan to", it will prompt you to scan to the memory card. My printer is configured wireless so I am assuming that the scanner just doesn't work with that. Also, I'll bet if you can figure out how to get the file sharing option to work on the printer (it used to work for me but I have been to lazy to re-configure), I am sure you scanner will start working again.
