Question about iRiver H10 MP3 Player
My iRiver H10 20gb worked just fine up until recently when it stopped being recognized by any PC I connect it to in UMS mode (emergency connect). I have since tried it on half a dozen computers. Windows XP, Vista, and even a Mac at my college which it always used to work on. I'm running Rockbox software so I can't try MTP either. I thought it might be the cable but have also since replaced the cable. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I sometimes have to reset my iRiver in order for my Mac to see it. I have an h10 5gb, to do this, I have to remove the battery then reconnect the battery. Then I connect it the usual way to get into the UMS mode. But I think with yours it has it's own reset button. If it was working and now has stopped, I would think you just need to reset it and try again.
