If you are comfortable with tool sthere is a fuse inside the unit right where the plug goes in. I would check this first. Caution unplug it first VERY high voltage inside 30,000 volts!!!

My child lost the tv remote and we have the child lock on so we can;t change the channel or the volume. Do you know how to turn it off without the remote?

Whew! Found the NE116UD replacement for the EWF2704 Emerson TV (there are other models on the list as well), it can be ordered here for 24.95:
Hope that helps. This problem is certainly very irritating. I have never heard of a remote for 24.95, nice job Emerson -- never again!

SOURCE: Child lock in a Koryo TV 21inch.
Hi I got the solution for this. Just Press -,--,--- Button from your remote for 10 Sec and then you will see Child Lock, Channel Preset off. Switch off TV and On again. FYI -,--,--- is the button we use to select channel range. Enjoi
