Memory full error

I have an LG 2 GB micro SD that's telling me that the "there's not enoug memory" to add files even thought the files that i'm trying to add is certaily less than the available memory. I've tried starting over by deleting everything on the SD card (no item on the card) and when I pull out disc properties, it showed I have 1.34 GB used space....... what gives? I have deleted everything on the SD card and it showed "0 Item" on the root... pls help me fix this.

Try re-formatting the card before putting items back on see if that makes a difference..

From Microsoft support:
Some Secure Digital (SD) cards do not work correctly on Windows XP-based computers. Additionally, you may notice a yellow exclamation mark (!) next to the SD card in Device Manager.
This problem may occur even though you have applied other hotfixes that are required for high-capacity SD card support. Hello,

Exactly the same problem occurred with my San Disk 1GB micro-SD Memory Card. And I solved this problem formatting my micro-SD Memory Card using a software which you can download by clicking here.

To format your micro-sd card:

- First plug in your micro-sd card into you PC.

- Run the installed "HPUSBFW_2.2.3_MASTER.exe" file.

- In the program menu window, select the device (your memory card).

- Select FAT32 as file system,

- Confirm that all the format options unchecked. (Uncheck the quick format option)

- And click the "Start" button to begin formatting.

That's all my friend. This solved my problem and I hope this helps you too.

The "root" directory has been filled.
Delete one or two items and create a folder on the microSD. You will be able to add more files, but into the folder, not the root area.
You should move all files to folders.
