Question about IBM ThinkPad T41 Notebook
What should I do? I spill water on my laptop, just a little bit. But all of a sudden it just started shutting itself down. Will it still work?
Shut it down, unplug the battery. The water is shorting out some of the circuits and leaving it on may cause more damage. Put it in a dry environment for a couple of days, you can also try a hair dryer (be careful not to get it too hot) to speed the drying process but the water is inside so it will be hard dry. A small room with a dehumidifier going would be great. With time it will evaporate and if you are lucky none of the components will be damaged.
