-   Our Maytag Quiet Series (definately a misnomer) 300 has the same problem. About three months ago, I replaced the front control panel because the original panel spazzed out after the warranty died. Now, the damn thing is going into a meltdown! My dishwasher doubles as an oven now. The scary part is that it NEVER shuts off! I am afraid that it is going to cause a fire.-   bouncer67
