Dubbing VHS to DVD

You have to go into the Home menu and select setup. At the bottom left there should be an icon that looks like a dvd disc. Select that and then go to finalize and select that to finalize the disc. After that is complete it should play on any dvd player. I had this problem and I got through to LG's customer service line and had them talk me through it. After I finalized the disc, it worked.

The solution is: insert the DVD you recorded in to the same DVD recorder, then go to the setings and finalize the disc, the disc was not finalized when recorded. try it.
