Since your system reboots even if you stay in the Bios setup the problem with your system might be because of heating up of the proceesor, which might be caused if the fan CPU fan is rotating slowly or is not rotating at all. If the fan is rotating slowly change the cpu fan and try to reinstall XP
Please try to reseat your memory module & VGA cards, then recheck your cable connections from VGA card port to monitor, also connection of your HDD from motherboard taking note of its jumper settings. regards
try to remove the motherboard from the casing and see it if the have
some capacitors or any circuit distroy. use other mother board for
testing chek your hardware one by one maybe some of your hardware
devices damages.
1. cpu problem. why because of there is no signal output from cpu to monitor. the led blinking means there is no vertical, horizontal signals from cpu to monitor.
2. your monitor connected to another system.
3. neck board dry points.
4. cheak the display cable. 13&14 pins are horizontal, vertical signals.1, 2, 3 pins , R G B , 6 ,7, 8 pins R G B ground ( coaxiler cable used , meshed wire is ground )
