Monitor is vertical display instead of horizontal display

My 2 year old managed to change the monitor from horizontal to vertical. So to view the monitor you either sit with your head on the side or turn the monitor on its side. Do you know how to get it back to a horizontal view.

Hi...there! Kazz,
Go to your toolbars bottom R/H corner and look for the VGA settings icon ( nVidia or ATI). Right click on that...and look for rotation settings, from there just followed the settings... Have nice day!

My crt acer ac512 monitar only centre line view,c"not full view why?

there are several reasons why picture of crt monitors did not display good picture. if your monitor had horizontal line at the center of the screen?...the faulty is in the vertical deflection, check the vertical oscillator also the fusible resistors & capacitors around that section. if there had vertical line at the center of the screen?..check the horizontal deflection, horizontal output transistor also check the YOKE.

Monitor is vertical display instead of horizontal display

the keys ctrl+alt+right arrow should do the trick for you. if not then right click on the keyboard and select properties for options and you will find your graphics software has its own rotational software. good luck with two year old, sounds like you'll need it.

Horizontal lines on my monitor

I have a similar problem with a 2 year old Samsung monitor. I have tried to make a screen dump of it, but the horizontal lines do not show up then. This I have read indicates that the problem is in the monitor and not the video card.
