This error is caused when the smtp server is not configured properly.

Resolution:

  1. From the Tools menu, choose Accounts.
  2. Highlight the account and select properties.
  3. Select the Servers tab.
  4. Check the box next to My Server Requires Authentication.
  5. Usually you use the same account for POP3 for authentication. If not then you need to enter the account details by clicking more settings
  6. Click OK.

  7. Hope this helps
    good luck.

A message error said a message i tried to send using an email address i have used for several years could not be sent due to server error 530. recently windows 7 was installed in my computer. what do i do...

A 530 error indicates that the outgoing email server can not figure out who you are, therefore it is not allowing you to send email.

You did not specify what email program you are using.

You need to go to the email configuration and make sure...

a) you email address is correctly entered. Look for silly spelling mistakes.

b) Also check the entry in the configuration for "Reply-to". It should also have your email address in it. Some servers will reject mails if this is blank or incorrect.

Cannot bring up NEW and cannot successfully send. Im mail ofcourse.

Thats not from your system if you are mailing that should be the site you are using try using yahoo and if that persist then you will be looking at what you connect with as a modem maybe its misbehaving the strength of the server might be low for sending and downloading ok

Outlook express

0x800CCC78 SMTP_REJECTED_SENDER Unknown sender. This is caused by having the incorrect e-mail address in the Reply-To field.

You may have to authenticate in outlook express by putting in the SMTP server name of your internet provider instead of yahoo
for example
Incoming = smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Outgoing = smtp.yourISPservername
Some isp's will not let you send out with a different smtp server than theirs.
It's why you can receive but not send.

Unable to send e-mail, keep getting an error message

Are you using Yahoo or other 3rd party email or a client (like Outlook)? If you're using Outlook (or other client) you need to re-setup your email address and password so Outlook can connect with your email source.

Sent e-mail error 530 error number ox800ccc78 port 25.and ox800ccc92 and ox800ccc90 at port 110

If using Outlook, the problem should get solved by going to your email account settings (Tools > Account Settings > More Settings), and checking the "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" option.

Then try to send the email.

Hope this helps.

Cant send my emails from incrediables email

Who's your email provider. I had the same problem when sending mail through Thunderbird using my AOL account. You have to manually change the outgoing mail server (if your provider uses an IMAP server) and change the port number. The default is 25 but in my case, it was 587. Yours may be different. You can search for more info about your provider by searching how to configure to send and receive mail with Incredimail.

Hi there I have tried to send an e-mail 3 times. Keeps coming back saying can't deliver. I get a 530 authentication required

i can assume that the problem u r facing is with outlook

so lets follow these steps
open outlook
go to Tools
go to Options
go to Mail Setup
go to Send/Receive
go to Edit
go to Account Properties
go to Outgoing Server
then check the "My outgoing sever (SMTP) requires authentication"

now close it and that should be it

cheers
