The right edge of most Flat Panel TV's have pressure point switches with raised symbols that most of us need a flashlight to see. The on/off switch looks like a circle with a vertical line from the center to the top edge of the circle. Press there.
Best is to switch off the TV . Disconnect all the cables even from wall outlet.
Wait for sometime. Let it reset itself.
Connect all the cables. Switch on the power.
Use the control on the TV to set the TV.
By manual I guess you mean the buttons on the TV and not switching the actual cables. my recommendation is to get a good new universal remote. My personal preference for my Vizio TV is the Logitech 650. Just know that you program it on a computer. It controls up to 6 devices (TV, DVD, Cable box, audio and more), is easy to program with no codes to enter. I am sure it is easier to get then a new Vizio remote though a little pricey at $60.
Hope this helps,
To switch from cable to air or vice versa on most Sansui flat screen tv's including the SLED2280, go into the menu. Select "channel" on the screen. Press "enter" on the remote. Select "auto ch mem" on the screen. Press "enter" on remote. Select "signal type" on screen. Press right arrow button or right volume button on remote to change signal type (cable or air). To program channels into tv, select "automatic search" on screen then press "enter" on remote. Wait for search to finish.
I hope this helps you.
I purchased a switch box from radio shack to switch my components. But, you have to get up and press the switch. I'm afraid there is no real easy way to do that without either doing it manually or using a remote. You can program a universal remote so it will change the input if you are missing a remote. Good luck!
