Sansa clip Okay, I just posted something about my clip jumping...well, that only happens in the gym apparently...could it be that the equipment on the cardio machines actually interferes with the clip?

I have a sansa clip; could not find Rhapsody cards; got an iTunes card for my Mac; apparently transferred tunes from Mac to clip, see them on the clip directory from my Mac but can't see them or play them...

Your Sansa will not be compatible with the DRM used in iTunes. You can download iTunes+ tracks, which are DRM free (there are a lot of them now) or you can 'burn' the m4a files to mp3 files with a program like NoteBurner (www.noteburner.com) :: Disclaimer :: This method is technically illegal, except in jurisdictions that allow backup copies.

Useless folders

try this...

1 put on hold and hold record button while u turn on (your sansa is now in recovery mode)
2 connect your sansa to your comp via usb cable a box should show up saying the firmware version
3 close the window and disconnect your sansa (it will restart)

if that doesnt fix your problem try this...

1 connect your sansa to comp via usb cable
2 right click start on windows desktop go to explore
3 scroll down to your sansa's drive rifght click it go to properties
4 go to tools tab and click "check now" under error checking will take awhile and will erase your memory on the sansa but it will probably work again

I hope my post was helpful let me know!!!!

Sansa 4gb clip cuts out after a while

Moisture seeps into the player, ruining the electronics. This was the basic downfall of the Nike/Sports Audio/jogging mp3 players.

Sansa clip problems with driver

Comment by vickisanchez, posted on Mar 19, 2008 IT FINALLY WORKS !!!!

Sandisk Tech support had me do the following:

- Turn it OFF
- Put it in the HOLD position
- HOLD the center button IN while plugging into USB port, continue to hold for 5 to 7 sec even after plugged in.
At this point MY COMPUTER recognized it. And it worked.

He also had me to:

- go to WWW.MICROSOFT.COM
- In the upper right hand search bar, type in MTP PORTING KIT
I did this and downloaded the first one. Now my Sansa Clip work perfect. I wish I would have talked to him last week before I returned the last one, for the same reasons.

If this does not help call the 1-800 # , opt #4, and ask for GUY (yes that is really his name) out of 5 or so calls to Tech Support he is the only one who knew what he was doing, and how to actually HELP.
GOOD LUCK

Problem with Right/Forward Button

I am embarrassed to admit that I finally looked at the brochure that came with the Sansa Clip and called the Tech Help number. The person I spoke with was very helpful and walked me through the process of re-formatting my Sansa Clip and downloading an update program. This solved my problem. I think the issue was my computer operating with VISTA while the Sansa Clip was set up for XP.
