You have to check (or have someone else check) the surface-mount fuse on the LCD driver board which is attached to the LCD panel at the top under a metal shield. If it's blown, you will get audio and back lights but no video.
If that doesn't fix it, then replace all the electrolytic capacitors in the output section of the power supply.

Daytek 46" LCD TV.. When

Hi,

Your power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors. These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable, and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Good luck in solving the problem....

My Daytek LCD TV has audio but no picture, keeps asking for auto tunning but no results after it's done. There is picture when TV doubles for my PC monitor.

Hi, Sounds to me like you are almost assuredly encountering a no signal problem. This would account for the auto tuning not doing anything. I would suggest a newer antenna. Local department stores carry a variety of " DIGITAL T.V. " antennas. And as far as the no audio part I have actually "seen " that problem on my own t.v. ( a portable ). When the tuner does manage to grab a signal if it becomes too weak the picture may freeze or go all diagonal or just disappear altogether leaving just the sound. I hope this helps and thanks for choosing FixYa, Good luck ,Prodzilla

Daytek DT4660 - at ac on , led grn for 2-3 secs, one blink red, pause, 2 blinks red, pause , 3 blinks red, pause ,then rapid 5-6 red blinks followed by repeat of above. I've unplugged the 12 volt connector...

Hi

I work on Daytek 4660 models. I have seen the problem you are having and have solved it a couple of times by replacing all the capacitors in the power supply. If you use an oscilloscope to measure the voltages they may appear fine, however I have solved this problem by replacing all the capacitors in the 2ndary circuit of the power supply. It doesn't always work, but has worked in about half of the TVs that have come in with this problem. Also, just to make sure, if you remove the shielding from the board that drives the LCD panel make sure the little smt fuse is good. It's right on the 5V power line close to the ribbon connector from the main board.

On a Daytek 46 in LCD TV, no AV Digital Cable Signal, but HDMI OK

Had the same problem.
Fixed by unplugging everything from the power source, leaving for 2 minutes then plugging back in.
Works fine now.

Daytek dt 3220 will not power on

OK, your Daytek 3220 is not a projection TV, but an LCD TV.

Second, I hate to say it, but you bought a piece of junk. They have excellent pictures when they're new, but after a few years capacitors in the power supply go bad. When this happens, either the controls and remote stop working, or the TV starts blanking out, or it will just die and never work again.

The solution is to go buy a new TV. The power supplies are no longer available, and even if you could get one very often the faulty power supply has damaged the main board and/or the LCD panel.

In about 5% of these cases, replacing the capacitors will get the TV to work, in about 25% it will get the TV to work, but because the main board has been damaged the TV will intermittently blank out. In another 25% the LCD panel has been damaged so once repaired you will see dark streaky patches across the display.

In the rest of the units you could have all three problems or any combination of them.

It'ds really too bad because they use a Samsung panel, and have excellent pictures when they're working.
