Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

The laptop turns on but wont log onto the internet

first you must have an ISP Internet Service provider which will provide you with a modem and leads you can choose either a dial up,usb,or an ethernet connection to connect to the net or if you have a laptop you can choose a wireless usb modem which can work on a desktop aswell once you recieve the modem just insert the disk provided and follow the prompts
hope this helps

that is to do with your internet connection you have only purchased a low speed package ring your inet company and tell them your problem they will tell you exactly what speed you have and offer minor solutions to improve the speed but it wont make much difference and they may offer to upgrade you to a faster one but it will cost you

There something blocking my computer for connecting to my wireless internet. my mother boyfriend try to add dial up to my laptop i dont know why but now vits locked up and will not connect to the internet

Assuming you have XP first do a system restore (start/accessories/system tools/system restore) restore it to a date when your connection last worked correctly.
If that dont work go into control panel open internet options click connections remove any connections and click never dial a connection.

Unable to crate dial-up connection

Why not try to create in the INTERNET OPTIONS under Control Panel. Click connection then hit ADD then set the settings. Try to set also its settings on LAN SETTINGS. Then whenever you try to connect to dial internet use the connection you created in internet options.

Sometimes you can get to Dial up connection one from the regular creation and one from the Internet options. If this could be the case.

If you still not able to connect to internet even with the right settings. Chances are, you have virus in your system. Could be Trojan vundo.

My wifes laptop is trying to use DUN instead of network cable

Open up Internet Options (from the Tools menu in IE or right-clicking the desktop icon and selecting Properties, or through the Control Panel). On the Connections tab, select 'Never dial a connection.' When you want to connect to your ISP you will be required to manually start the dial-up connection.

Inspiron 6400 wirless connection

HI
If the browser shows working offline and wireless is connected fine then it could be an issue where work offline is checked in the browser.
In internet explorer 6 its found on File in the menu, if work offline is already checked, check it again to remove the check mark and then try, if its internet explorer 7 its found on tools, the same steps and in firefox under file,
Also try this step as well, if its internet explorer go to tools-internet options-and in internet options-go to connections tab-there is dial up and networking box-remove the dial up connections from the box-and check the one never dial a connection

also check the firewalls and antivirus programs, post your results.

thank you
rakesh

Connectivity problem

it is still trying to connect via your modem, go to control panel>network connection, and you will see your modem dialup connection, right click and select dissable if required.

next open up internet explorer, go to tools>internet options, then click on connections tab, then half way down select 'never dial a connection'.

Click apply>ok, then close internet explorer, open it up again and wait a few seconds and it will connect via your router(asuming that it is correctly set up).

If no page appears then click refresh a few times.
