If I understand the problem, the bobin winder has probably lost a rubber 'o' ring.

Unscrew the two top screws and remove the top cover. At the base of the bobin spindle is a metal disk that should have a rubber 'o' ring on it. This will perish over time and break off.

When the bobin winder is pushed sideways into the active position, this should contact the main turning handle thingy (that's a technical term) and be spun around. Check if the bobin 'o' ring is making contact or if it is even there at all. Any sewing machine repair shop (or good automotive store if you're desperate) will have a replacement.

I had this problem and fixed it by using a little double stick tape (or just fold over some normal tape) I gently taped the bobbin to the base of the shaft and then I didn't have any problems winding at all. The main problem was anytime there was even the least amount of tension on the thread, the shaft would spin but the bobbin wouldn't spin with it - as if the bobbin was too loose. Hope this fix works for you too, it was really easy!

Not sure of the particular bobbin winding problem you are experiencing. However, frequently the bobbin winder "tire" becomes worn and needs to be replaced.

How do I wind sharing thread onto a bobbin on a LX-5500 brother sewing machine?

Generally, elastic thread should be hand-wound onto a bobbin. Hand winding allows the elastic thread to be wound onto the bobbin without any stretch prior to sewing.

What model Bernina is it? Most operate on a simple system where a rubber wheel on the bobbin winder comes into contact with the handwheel (under the cover) ... the handwheel is disengaged so the needle has no drive.......

My bobbin wont wind

you tell nothing, so let me guess

you could have wrong bobbin spool
it may not be inserted properly
your thread is just slipping because it isn't tight on the spool
you haven't engaged the "wind" drive
is the machine running but not winding? have you disengaged the main feed spool?
are you running motor at top speed?

I can't wind the bobbin tightly enough on my sp10 toyota sewing machinene

it's possible that the machine has a internal problem & that's why you can't wind a bobbin, or it could be warped, the machine needs to be serviced

Threading bobbin on singer stylist 522

To wind a bobbin put the cotton reel on the top pin, take the thread to the left and round the little wheel and back to the bobbin that should be on the winder, wind the thread round a few times to take a grip, release the stop motion in the balance wheel, turn the winder button so the winder moves to the balance wheel and press on the foot control slowly.
When you put the bobbin in the bobbin case make sure it turns anti clockwise.
