Explorer 230 went into solid blue light the second time I used it. Fixed mine by letting the headset go completely dead and re-charged and it appears to work fine now.

My headset the light is solid blue and will not work

It sounds like the headset is already connected to a device. Try holding down the center control button to put it back into discovery mode and then use your phone or device to locate the headset. How do i put the plantronics explorer 232 blutooth in pairing mode?

go to the menu on your phone select manage connections turn bluetooth on (on your phone) then you'll see search, listen, etc. position on search don't press yet
get your ear piece ready: press the on button and hold it until you see a solid blue light (not blinking but solid) if it blinks try again until you get a solid blue light (it takes about 5-8 seconds) when that happens go to your phone and press search it will look for devices (it may find several) look for your earpiece model and select it
it will ask for a code or passkey, type 0000. Then it's going to ask if you want to bond or pair click yes and it will connect
check on the connection manager again and your bluetooth should be on and connected.

My lg vx1100 can not find my plantronics 232 explorer and I do not have the instructions anymore.....can anyone help?

The following are for TB-20EL model. But it works in general for plantronics as well. For step 3 make sure your headset is in pairing mode. When you hold the button 6-8 sec, it should turn either solid blue or blink.
for tb-20el:
1. ensure that your phone's bluetooth feature is on
2.Ensure that the headset is off(press and hold button on your headset (called multifuntcion button) for 2-4 sec, teh indicator light will flash red)
3. press and hold the multifunction button for 6-8 seconds until the indicator light alternately flashes blue and red
4. set your phone to find new device
5. Ente rpin '0000' (four zero) then press OK or yes
6. this should complete the pairing.
