Hi Keith.

Update your graphic card drivers.
If this doesn't solve your problem tell me what is the brand and model of your graphic card.

This is usually a sign that there is a hardware or driver problem. Try removing the latest hardware that you have fitted since the system was working properly. And I would also suggest that you check that the graphics card you have is good enough for the game you are trying to play. There is a great site that will tell you if your system is capable of playing just about any game. it is called "can i run this" Follow the instructions on the website and search for the game you wish to run.

My computer turns on but does not connect to the monitor. I tried two monitors and the same problem occurs.

Hi avia798,

Most likely your On-board graphics card, or Addin Graphics Card is not working.

Firstly, make sure the power cable on the monitor is well inserted...

If you use on-board Graphics - Reset your Bios by following the step by step instructions in the OEM manual of your motherboard - Usually setting some jumpers to the On & Off positions.

If an OLD Add-On card - make sure it is in full contact of the slot (You can clean the goldish contacts of the card with a normal pencil eraser if you want to) and try again. If still not working, your Card may need replacing. If it is a new card, and you have installed it for the first time, reset your BIOS and set back to on-board graphics - and update your BIOS (Refer to your instruction manual - Known as "flashing" the BIOS), and try again.

Good Luck :-)

My hardware does not work properly.

Have you installed the latest video drivers for it. With the correct and up-to-date video drivers the card will run more effectively and the way it should.
Just go to the AMD download support website.

Step 1) Desktop Graphics
Step 2) Radeon HD Series
Step 3) Radeon 5xxx Series PCIe
Step 4) Then select your operating system
Then click Display Results.

Download the Catalyst Software Suite, it should be around 52.2MB.

My hp a805n powers on like normal but my monitor is not coming on? i checked my monitor on another computer and it works perfect? whats the reason that my output to the monitor isnt working? i dont think...

This could be an issue with the integrated graphics card( This computer has integrated graphics card) or faulty motherboard.
In order to check he motherboard follow the the steps below:
1)open the computer tower by removing the side panel.
2)Remove all the memory chips(RAM) from the computer.
3)Try to turn the computer on.
4)If it is beeping then the motherboard is fine.
5)If you don't hear any beep motherboard is failed.
****Even if the motherboard is working as there is an issue with the integrated graphics you need to replace the motherboard.

I think your Black Cartridge is Empty. Check it and replace it with the new one.

Your Printer is trying to produce Black Colour from your Colour Cartridge with a mix of Cyan, Magenta and Yellow.

7600gt ?

Dear cgb1981; A lot of times graphic cards do conflict if one of the drivers gets corrupted. Try this: Reinstall the driver for the 7600gt card from the CD it came with. Most CDs will Auto-run upon insertion into the drive. It will detect the 7600gt. Click to install driiver. If that doesn't work, check BIOS and choose DEFAULTS for all screens. But the driver is the first culprit. Good luck.

Cant insall new graphics card

the graphic card is a plug and play device meaning as you install it, it is giving its resource and it starts working but you install yours and the motherboard beeps means
1. there was a change in the CMOS configuration which should not occur
2. the CMOS utility did not identify any graphic device
i think your graphic device is questionable it could not be good is the word.
