The ribbon is lock in place with a bar that will rotate up or down. With the bar up lay the ribbon in place and push the locking bar down to firmly hold the ribbon in place

My Casio Exilim Z77 fell from a table while it was on and the lens was out. Now when I turn the camera on, everything seems to be working fine, but no picture is shown on the screen. The display is all...

Sounds like a ribbon cable from the CCD (Lens assembly) got knocked loose from the board. If you're handy I'd give it a shot, look for a small gold colored thin ribbon like cable, there should be a few, check the connections at both ends and reassemble.

The 7.2 megapixle Exillim is over 4 years old so your warranty has to be over anyway, you have nothing to loose.
You can get a much better camera for under $100 these days.

Lcd screen

Well, you're not going to fix this without opening up the camera.

The LCD screen should have to wires going to it. One is for the light that illuminates the LCD. That one is obviously working. The other is for the LCD itself - it sounds like that isn't. Either the LCD needs replaced, or that cable is loose or damaged. I'd suggest opening up the camera, finding that cable (it will likely be a thinner cable than the other), and checking for loose connections, or an obvious break or sharp bend in the cable.

Unfortunately, even if you find the cable is damaged, I'm not sure you can get it replaced. If you're not confident you can take this apart and put it back together properly, I'd suggest either taking it to a repair shop, or just using it as is. I'd hate to see you damage it further. If you are confident, however, check that cable. If it's good, contact Samsung about a replacement LCD.

I have a DMC - TZ2 when I turn it on the screen is blank when I take a picture it is the same totally blank, dosen't matter which setting you put it on all the same (blank).

This is caused by a bad or loose ribbon connector to the LCD screen...the only way to fix that is to take the camera apart and reconnect the ribbon connector.
You also can do a search for camera repair and send it away, but often the costs are more then the camera is worth...

If you do try to repair the camera be advised that there are dangerous voltages inside even careful!!

My Canon Powershot will take pictures like normal, but in view mode none of the functions work including: flipping through the pictures, deleting pictures, the menu button, etc. I powered the device on and...

There are ribbon connectors on the inside of the camera, connecting button pads and switches to the main board. When they become sightly loose, they can cause this problem. You will have to service the problem, and find that loose ribbon connector, detach it, and reattach it. Some are fixed, and require a replacement of the main board.
If you don't feel comfortable servicing it yourself, you can take it into a local repair shop and get an estimate. Also, you can contact Canon:
Good luck, and hope this helps.

My A95 pics come out pink and blurred. Can this be fixed???

I think this is due loose RIBBON CABLE inside or probably due to bad CCD chip.
If your camera under warranty period then contact canon for repair, If not then you can try this fix, open the camera and reseat all ribbon cables linked to the LCD Screen.
I hope this we solve your problem, otherwise you need to contact Canon Service Center.

My camera turns on and will take pics or video but all I see is a while screen. How do I fix this so I can see what Im taking pictures of?

Was your camera ever dropped or exposed to liquid? If so you could open your camera by removing the body screws to check the LCD ribbon to see if it came loose or if there is liquid damage near the ribbon input. If all looks well inside, I would just have your LCD screen replaced, it's actually affordable! Check that link out and maybe contact them to see what they can do for you! =)

Canon PowerShot A75

If you get a blank screen and the camera is on,there are two ribbons to the LCD one (the smaller one) is power to the screen. the larger ribbon is the data lines. If the camera is on the problem is a loose connection of one or both of the ribbons. Hope this helps Jerry

Camera fixing

What happened is the lcd ribbon has loosed up or came off altogether. Try this;turn camera on,squeeze case between your fingers, where sony logo is,if ribbon is just loose the lcd should come back on. If this doesn't work, take it to a local camera shop and have them fix it,it's a very simple fix.
