Question about AT&T Blackberry Curve 8300 Smartphone
I have replaced the battery and when I do so the red light will go on for a few seconds and then turn off. The phone will not turn back on. Pls. help!
There are only 2 options:
- faulty firmware: reload the firmware with App Loader in Blackberry Desktop Manager
- damaged motherboard: then the only thing you can do is to replace the motherboard, but this is usually more expensive than buying another one

My phone is doing the same thing. From what I understand this is a Blackberry issue. It's not the battery or anything else. I just removed the Facebook app from my phone because I also read that it takes up a lot of space.
I've had my Curve for almost a year now and never had any problems. Then the past 3 days it has a low battery by the afternoon. Today it turned off by itself and would not turn back on.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
