Is the very bottom of the picture compressed or folding over? if so, it's a deflection/coupling issue to the vertical stage of the yoke circuit, due to leaky/shorted diodes and leaky electrolytic capacitors. Check the PCB for cracks, dry solder joints, and the IC itself; replace if necessary.

Check EVERYTHING in the vertical output stage.

It's always a good idea to thoroughly inspect and/or replace the vertical IC, as these can develop weird fault symptoms. The jungle IC should not be the problem here, but check it also to be sure. Only consider replacing the whole TV if the service centre tells you (free quote - insist on this first if you find nothing unusual) that it will be expensive, and not economical to repair.

UN46EH5300 adjust screen size to get whole picture and closed captions

Sounds like you have it on zoom setting. Go to the picture menu and scroll through the options. Start with 16:9 and try others if this doesn't work. If you've already tried this, you may have to go into screen setting and manually draw the picture in horizontally and vertically - but make sure you've got it on 16:9 and paused on a typical picture before you mess around with these settings.

Consult the manual---the answer lies in the size controls being grayed out so you cannot adjust or try to adjust the vertical size!

Sony lcd projection tv vertical adjustment KF-50E200A

Try changing the settings for the video formats, widescreen, regular, and all that. There are angle mirrors in the back of the tv that direct the projected image on the screen. The mirrors are positioned such that if, says, a piece of a metal bracket or something falls down inside the projection area, it'll fall right against the projection lens and block the image. Open up the back of the tv and follow the light path from the screen backwards to its source and make sure there's no debris in the projection path.

Entire image will not fit on screen

The set may be overscanning. You will need a service tech to evaluate this for you. It is possible that there are some failed components that can cause this problelm. It is also possible that there are some adjustments that can be done.

The first step is to find out if there is a problem or not. It is not very good practice to over adjust a set to compensate for a fault condition. Then there will be bigger problems soon after.

An experienced TV tech who is familiar with your set can make some diagnostics to know where the fault is occuring.

Bottom of picture is cut off

Usually when the vertical starts shrinking slowly, it is due to capicators getting out of tolerance in the vertical output section of the chassis. If it can be adjusted out through a service menu, you'll probably need a tech with the right equipment to perform it.

Sansui - BOTTOM OF SCREEN CUT OFF

Your problem is not a vertical alighnment or size adjustment. No, Im sorry to say its the old vertical output IC and /or the small capacitors around the ic and in the vertical circuit. If you dont have the right tools, like a soldering iron a multimeter know how to read a schematic diagram, then you should seek out a repair person to assist you in this repair.
