My gas powered pressure washer will start but it will not blow any water out. Anyone have any suggestions?

Is the water supply to unit turned on? If so, then perhaps the pump is no good. With motor turned off and garden hose attached you should be able to spray the hose water via the trigger. If nada then then perhaps you have some internal obstruction.

It wont work it flashes fl

the Fl code indicates an overfill condition. If the washer is empty, then you likely have a problem with the water level pressure switch. If the washer is full of water and will not drain, you likely have a problem with the drain pump or the washer drain line.

If the washer is full of water, make sure that the washer drain is clear and working properly. Check the drain hose for kinks or clogs. If you find no problems with these issues, I recommend that you manually drain the washer using a wet/dry shop vacuum. Check the drain pump and connecting hoses for problems. You may need to replace the drain pump of water will drain out of the washer properly but the pump will not work properly. A clog in the check ball assembly at the bottom of the tub can also prevent the washer from draining properly.

What does code F35 mean for my washer?

Error code F 35 means ANALOG PRESSURE SENSOR FAILURE. There is any malfunction of the component detected by the Steamer Electronic Board. Please check whether the pressure hose is fixed firmly, and the air trap is not blocked. Make sure the hose is not plugged. If this doesn't resolve the issue then it is a problem with the water level pressure switch operation. There could be a blockage in the air dome or pressure switch hose. The air dome is located on the back of the tub on the left hand side. If the pressure switch hose and the air dome is clear of any blockages, then there is an issue with the water level pressure switch, you would need to replace it. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

I have a split karcher pressure hose. Can I get a kit to repair the hose or do I have to get a new hose

Hi, depending on the type of hose you may be able to get it repaired. If its a domestic one then probably no as there's not much to them, afraid its a new hose. If its a more robust industrial model then perhaps a hydraulic hose place may be able to cut and join the hose for yo. They may even be able to replace the hose with a stronger hydraulic hose, made to length as well !!
Hope that helps

I have a MAH6500AWW. I replaced bearings in today and ran a normal cycle with it empty. It ran without a problem. This belongs to a friend so after the test cycle we loaded it into his blazer on its back...

it starts along the pressure switch and follows down along the tub to the middle or bottom of inner drum , should bot be hard to locate but may have to remove cabinet

Water pressure switch adjustment or clogged. Check the small connecting hose to the switch body.

Washer overfills and does not drain - entire floor was wet. What went wrong? How can I fix it?

Hi There
I have found the code you are looking for and i hope this helps you. Let me know how it went.
F/09 Overflow Condition
If the Overflow contact on the pressure switch is Closed for more than 60 seconds and Overflow condition will occur. In an Overflow condition, the Door will remain locked, and the Drain Pump will run constantly, even if PAUSE/CANCEL is pressed twice and the Display is cleared. Unplug the unit to service.
  • Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or inked.
  • Check Wire Harness connectors to the Drain Pump, Pressure Switch, and Central Control Unit (CCU)
  • Check/Clean Drain Pump Filter of foreign objects
  • Check for Drain Pump Failure
  • Check the Inlet Valve for proper shut off
  • Check the Pressure switch for proper operation
thank you for writing to fix ya.
Best Regards Richard

How do you change pressure switch on this model??? Service tech is looking to charge 80 dollars for part and 40 for labor.

Replacing the water level pressure switch is not a difficult operation. Here guidelines.

  • Disconnect the washer from power. Either unplug the power cord or trip the circuit breaker.
  • Pull out the appliance and place it in a space where you can work.
  • Disconnect the water hoses .located at the back of the appliance
  • Remove the four screws that hold the top panel to the body of the machine and pull up the top panel. Be careful while lifting the top panel, its edges are sharp and you may get harmed.
  • Disconnect connector from the water level pressure switch. Disconnect also the connectors hooked to the water valve solenoid contacts if necessary to access the water level pressure switch.Always mark the connections with tape and labels or take a picture before disconnecting the wires. The pressure switch has only a two wires connector attached, and wires orientation does not matter, but get used to note down all disconnected wires.
  • Remove the clamp holding the hose and disconnect the vacuum hose from the water level switch.
  • To remove the pressure switch, push down the metal tab on the rear panel plate and rotate the old switch until it gets loose.
  • Install the new water level pressure switch by following operations in reverse order. Ensure that all hoses are well connected, and that all wiring connectors are in place.
Replacing the water pressure switch is not a difficult operation, however remember to observe strictly all safety prescriptions.
Before replacing the switch you can try blowing into the vacuum hose attached to the pressure switch, this sometimes can fix an apparently faulty pressure switch.

Before replacing the switch this can be tested either jumping its contacts, or using a multimeter to read Ohms on switch contacts, and check if the switch is opening and closing the contact. With no pressure applied to vacuum hose the switch must have continuity and low impedance, otherwise the switch is faulty.

The water pressure switch is part nr. ten on the diagram shown below. Click on the picture to enlarge the diagram:

My maytag washer leakes, all the water runs out on the floor.

Remove the rear access panel to check the source of the leak. The drain pump is most probably broken or the sump hose is damaged or detached from the tub.

Drain Pump Removal/Replacement Procedure (Maytag Neptune MAH5500B)
  1. Safety first. Unplug the machine.
  2. Remove the hose clamps and hoses from the pump.
  3. Disconnect the wiring harness from the pump and the pressure switch terminals.
  4. Rotate the pump assembly counterclockwise and remove it from the base of the washer.
  5. Remove the plastic bag covering the pressure switch.
  6. Press in the locking tabs on the back of the pressure switch and pivot the pressure switch off the pump bracket.
  7. Grasp the pressure switch and lift the nipple off the pump cap.
  8. Install the pressure switch on the new pump in reverse order of the removal steps.
  9. Install the new pump in reverse of the removal steps above.
