IT CAN BE 1 OF MANY PROBLEMS 1ST TRY 2 ADJUST THE SCREW ON THE BOTTOM RITE THAT CONTROLS THE SPEED TO THE BLADE U MIGHT HAVE TO FIND THE RITE TOOL 4 IT I USE OLD SCISSOR BUT I DONT RECOMEND IF THAT DONT WORK TRY TAKING THE FRONT PLATE OFF AND ON THE INSIDE THERE IS A SCREW TO THE BOTTOM LEFT THAT STANDS OUT TRY ADJUSTING THAT IF THAT DONT WORK TRY A NEW BLADE REMEMBER ALWAYS KEEP UR OILED AND SPRAY UR CLIPPERS WITH 5 IN 1 BEFORE AND AFTER EVERY CUT HOPE THIS HELPS............

Have you kept the blades oiled well both before and after every use? If so then the next step would be to send the unit in for repair. Please call the Andis customer service department at 1-80-558-9441 to either find a repair station in your state or to get the factory address.
Thank you for choosing Andis.
