Try to disconnect everything except mouse, keyboard and monitor, turn off computer, unplug power cable and turn it on again..if it wont turn on or still does the same, you need to reseat your memory modules..try using a different monitor as well or reseat monitor cable

Unable to enter Asus 6850 BIOS

I would start by resetting your bios settings to default; turn off your system, remove the side cover and gently pry out the board battery (round "button battery" such as cr2032). Leave it out for about one minute, and reinstall. Then see if you get a post screen.

When my computer start i see the bios info on the screen then the screen gets black

This can be caused by a newly added device or your Video card driver especially if you have done a recent update: try booting your (windows based) computer in 'SAFE MODE' (e.g. Hit F8 while the computer is booting up) and fix Video configuration to something safe first (e.g. VGA 800 X 600.

Hope it helps.

Hello, I have a Sony Vaio VGC-V3M and I have just a black screen after starting it. I can hear windows loading, and I get the vaio logo, then the Windows XP logo but then blackness. I can get the Bios...

If you can see the windows logo and get into the bios then it is not the graphics card.

Most likely cause is the os itself, just after post press F8 repeatetly until you have the boot mode page open and choose safe mode, in safe mode do a system restore, goto start bar, programs, accessories, system tools and system restore, and start from a resent restore point. This can can take a while, so be patient and let the computer restore itself until you have the windows screen up.

If the restore dosent work, goto safe mode again, right click on my computer goto properties and enter device manager, in there under display adapters click on the plus sign and uninstall the graphics card, reboot. hope this helps post back if need farther help.

For that you need to fix error on harddrive.
For that You can solve this errors with following 2 methods.
(1)When you power up the computer press F8 key then enter in safe mode.
Then if you are able to enter in safe mode then uninstall driver or software which you installed recently and face this error.
(2)If you are not able to enter in safe mode Then you need to fix error on hard drive. For that you need windows disk or recovery disk.
Boot your computer with that disk
For that when you power up the computer press F1 or F2 "del" key to enter in bios.
Then go to boot menu and set frist boot device as your cd or dvd rom.
Then save settings and exit bios.
Insert windows disk in cd /dvd rom.
Then it boot with that disk. Then you get this message "Press any key to boot from cd.."
Then press any key.
Then follow the procedure then enter in recovery console mode then type in prompt "chkdsk /r"
Then type "y"
Then it fix error on hard drive.
Then check if again you are not able to enter in windows then boot again and this time choose "R" option for repair previous windows " then it repairs old windows then it loads again old windows.

Green display on boot up Please help

Check to see that there are no machine BIOS settings that could affect the monitor. Normally, the bios controls display until the OS takes over. If your XP screen after bootup looks fine, I don't see how you have a problem with your monitor setup under Windows.

Black enter password screen, but no password

I'm not sure if this will work but it may be that your system bios is asking for a password. If so, as you reboot the system, press F8 down until the system bios screen appears. Then page thru to see if the bios is asking for a system password. If so, you should be able to deactivate it thru the bios.

Hope this works.

you may try
1) if you reinstall windows xp but it can't boot from xp disk, you may set the cdrom to piority at bios setup screen, still no boot, you need check your cdrom works status
2) if you reinstall windows xp but display no any hard disk appear that means the HD damaged, you need replace a new HD then do again
3) update some devices driver maybe needed, check from control panel--system--device manager, any triangle yellow mark, you can search from website acording the device model name, download and update them.

Can't get pass the background screen when pc load

The sequence is:
a) The Dell bios splash screen is displayed,
b) the screen will go black,
c) the disk activity light will flash for about 5 - 7 seconds, then will remain off.
d) you force a power off,
e) wait a few seconds,
f) then turn the machine back on.
g) The bios splash screen is displayed,
h) then a black screen with white text is displayed, reporting that Windows was not shut down nicely and would I like to boot into safe mode or safe mode with networking, or others.
g1) If you choose Safe Mode, Windows will boot up successfully. If I restart, the computer will usually (probably) boot into Windows fine.
g2) If you choose Boot Normally, the computer will usually (probably) enter the black and hung state.
see if that helps and the if possible do a do a system restore to when the system was working correctly.
