I did it at last!!! With the hinge facing away from you press down with your thumb on the back of the phone, about where Sony is printed & at the same time pull your thumb towards you.The back will eventually slide off.

Why is my DeWalt D51275 15 gauge angled finish nailer bending nails and jamming?

A few things to check - some may seem overly obvious but humor me:
1) Check your nails - make sure they are the correct angle and gauge
2) Check to make sure there is not a piece of a broken nail in the nose
3) Check the driver blade & insure it is not bent or chipped
4) Make sure the nail carrier spring is pushing nails forward and isn't getting hung up

What degree nails are used in stanley bostitch n60fn nail gun

I've repaired many nail guns and I can tell you the Stanley Bostitch N60FN uses 15 guage nails from 1 1/4" to 2 1/2" long in the FN1500 series of Bostitch nails. Nowhere does SB or any of their aftermarket dealers list what the angle of the nails is. I do know most of the SB nail guns that come through for repairs are because of damage to them from using other than SB series nails.

My Hitachi nv65ah nail gun won't set nails into 3/4 trim. I have played with the turn/screw set adjustment and it is set for the deepest setting. This gun was purchased second hand off e-bay but

If every nail is stopping at the exact same height, a likely reason is the tip of the driver is broken off so it's not long enought to drive the nails all the way to flush. If the height of the nails is slightly different you may have worn or broken o-ring(s) inside the gun and air is leaking around the driver's piston or elsewhere in the gun so that the driver isn't getting full pressure. You can take the gun apart and inspect the o-rings. If you push the driver all the way down the tip should come flush or slightly past the end of the nose piece (not the safety tip). Parts are easy to find online or at a service center if you have one nearby.

How to replace a door handle on a 2007 hyundai sonata,

our question is vague. If you must replace the exterior handle only, Point 7 in Prakash's excellent answer is enough.
Tip: to repair a broken exterior handle: fill both sides of the broken handle with metal reinforced epoxy like KwikWeld, then push nails (heads clipped off, 4 or 5 cm long, 1.5 or 2 mm diameter) into the small part (over half the length of the nails will stick out), then put the handle back together and wait. The nails will reinforce the epoxy and you'll have several cm of metal totally filling up the handle where it is broken.

Nails only partly firing in

First make sure you are using the correct nails as far as gauge and angle. These are complicated tools and you may want to take it to a DeWalt service center for repairs. Here is a diagram for you if you don't have one.

My makita an451 roof nailer keeps shooting 2 nails I've tried 2 different brands of nails

Nailers that use strips of nails (one nail directly behind the other) will sometimes drive two nails at once and is caused by damage to the driver. The nails are so close together that the driver will hit the first and part of the second nail head. Coil nailers, as your an451, use nails seperated by welded wire making it very difficult the the driver to hit the second nail. Usually when a coil nailer shoots two nails, it is acutally the trigger valve that acutates twice (two very rapid fires). Two very rapid fires is caused by faulty trigger valve. I have seen a roofing coil nailer fire one nail and a second nail drops out of the gun. Caused by weak / malfunction of nail feeder or wire used to weld nails together is too thick.

Hitachi nailer does not sink nails completely, no matter what size nail.

You must have broken tip or out of adjustment. Easy to check. Remove nails, and push safety against scrap air hose or rubber to absorb blow and squeeze trigger. Piston will stay in the down position until your release safety (on some models you will need to pull back on feeder sligtly). While piston is down examine the end of the driver for nice squared off tip protruding about 1/4 inch beyond nose. If no tip or looks broken, replace driver. If tip looks complete, adjust for more depth. Good luck

It is shooting 2 brad nails at a time - is there some type of adjustment?

the first thing that i look at when a gun is double shooting is the nails. if i have the right nails then i check the driver( part of the gun that hits the nail) if the driver is fine( not bent or broken or worn) then your nose( chamber that holds the nail right before being shot out) is worn or broken. either way to answer your question , no , double shooting is not only dangerous but a complete waste of time, ps rate , tks

Having a problem getting charger to nstay lock in to razor

1. a Piece of tape to hold the locking arm down works
2. for a more long term fix, I drilled a very small hole thru the locking arm when it was held down with tape, I now put a small nail thru the hole and it holds down the arm.

This solution has been working for me for about 2 years, total cost 3 cents for the nail.

Replacing carraige in dewalt nailer

Be sure that the driver piece is in position. When replacing the actuation arm (the part with the spring), slide the driver down the nose piece as if it were driving a nail. This will allow you to slip the actuation arm down into place.
