My acer aspire 5100 stuck after running windows the message says autochk program not found - skipping autochk and it keep`s starting over with the Acer screen as startup and the black screen with the cursor butonly for 2 to 3 secnds and it`s back to startingf windows and it keeps repeating.

This is probably a hardware issue with the monitor. Just to make sure, uninstall, and reinstall the monitor's driver. If that doesn't fix it, it's a hardware issue.

You will have to either take it to a shop, or contact the manufacturer (your computer should be under warranty if you've had it for less than a year).

may be your problem is belonged to specification system on your computer ! if your Memory Ram is lower than 512 MB, just you must install Windoes XP Service Pack 2 on your PC, after finalization the XP OS find to drivers for the hardware from device manager and update all drivers and restart your PC,... if with this practicing your pc same before is worked slowly, I think your Hard Drive got Bad Sector you have to use Hirnes Boot to slove all problem inside your HDD .. Hirnes boot an CD is contained some great application working from DOS for checking hard and Motherboard and ram uitility and recovery and some program else .. you just use hard tools > then Active Kill Desk > then select your HDD by get down Arrow on your Keyboard then press F10 key on your keyboard ..after pressing that button an window box will be appear ..come down to start erasing ... in this process you must wait after 30 Min even 15 percent will be erase .. %15

after complete erasing press ESC button on your Keyboard then remove Hirnes boot CD and bring back Windows XP to your CD room begin installing OS from first ..
