This seems to be a common theme. I just posted a response to someone here with a similar problem. HP.com has a web page that can help you go through a series of diagnostic tasks designed to track down this problem:

Streaks or Lines in the Printed Page

There's also a help page that talks about lines on pages when you use the Copy feature. Not quite your problem, but it may help:

White Lines Through Copies

Hope some of this helps. Good luck.

Printed copy will not feed out line by line and finally will not feed the printed page. How to get it to work properly?

There could be something blocking the paper path that's not allowing the paper to not go all the way through the feeder. Try to open the printer and access the cartridge area. Remove the cartridges. Check for any foreign objects blocking the paper path. Rebrick your printer by removing the power adapter (black box found on the back of your printer where the power cord is plugged in) and then re-plug after 30 seconds. When your printer turns back on, re-insert your cartridges. Then try print your document again to verify that the problem is fixed.

I have a grey/black line all the way down the right hand side of the page

Run a half test.
Put paper in the manual feed tray.
Print something, anything
When the paper is 1/2 way into the printer, open the cover.
Pull out the toner cartridge. Look down at the paper.
Does it have a black line on the right side?
If yes, replace the cartridge. If no, replace the fuser.

How do you eliminate a line going through each page

Run a 1/2 print test.
Put paper in the manual feed tray (tray 1).
Print something. When the paper feeds 1/2 way into the printer, open the top cover.
Remove the toner cartridge and look down at the paper. If you see the line, replace the toner.
If there is no line, then the problem is probably the fuser.

Vertical line and five spots in every sheet of paper I print

Thats on the drum, time for a new cartridge.  The equial distance of the marks on the right side of the page point to the drum  which I presume is built into the toner cartidge.

Everytime I try to print to my PIXMA 9000 I get an error from the print spooler that the printer is not responding. THe print job starts to print, stalls after a few lines.

1. First, clean your printer. Get some spray-n-wipe cleaner and a clean cloth and clean the entire inside of the printer. Also ensure your paper isn't dirty. Now print a test page. Does the symptom persist?
2. Remove all jammed paper. Check the paper tray first. Look closely at the paper rollers nearest where the paper exits the printer; this is a common source of jams. If you’re trying to print labels, they will often jam just before exiting the printer.
3. Try to print a test page. Does the printer still jam? If you can find no source of the jamming, check the printer's message display window and refer to your user’s manual to look up the printer error code.

OR=

1. Check the printer and/or the software to see if "manual feed" is selected. If manual feed is selected, the printer may be looking for paper in another tray.
2. Reseat paper. Ensure printer is on-line. Check for paper jams or obstructions.
3. Likely suspect: paper-out sensor is damaged or broken. Consult a computer repair shop.

Cannon Imageclass printing problem

You need to check your glass first to make sure it has no scratches. Then you can run a copy and open door to stop paper in the center of the machine, b4 it goes through fuser. If line is on copy, you have a bad drum. If not your upper fuser roller is bad.
