Lap top My wife was try to loc-in into the computer but unfortunately she log in a wrong password, so please help me solve the problem

Maybe you are not using correctly your witual keyboard?

if you post personal information on line publicly like that you can get hacked.
and if doing that you then invite the bad boys to guess your super weak password email : Like"momma123"
then it is stolen. from you or her.

no OS told is this windows 10? now?
do you only use email on line, called web mail.
like at gmail?
or live .com,or hot mail?

so this is how to do that
go to your EMAIL service provider.
like gmail.com
then tell it your email name and log in
and it then asks you for a password
if that fails that means someone stole it. and is never impossible
mine is PW= like this. G3Es2$2@#4 (just 1 example)

using good passwords stops the theft, see??

if that fails call them or contact only them;
we can not fix your email, ever, we are not them.

Try some common passwords that you regularly use, but unless you can guess correctly, you'll have to reset your password.

1. Log in to your NETGEAR router by browsing to http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com. Enter the username (admin) and password. By default, the password is password or 1234 unless it has already been changed.
2. From the left-hand navigation menu of the Router Manager, select Set Up > Wireless Settings.

3. From the center screen, select your encryption type from under the Security Options heading.

• If the wireless network passphrase is visible, review it and use it to log devices onto your network.

you might have put in the wrong password or user id check to make sure you have put these in correctly first make sure the caps lock is on/off what ever applies to your user and password id that you provided to your ISP
also
make sure your routers settings are correct ie:password user name,firewall settings to allow your internet to connect also test the lead/s whether usb or ethernet you might check your modem first to make sure that you are getting a connection

if there is a small hole in the front or back of the router push a hair pin in to reset to factory settings

last resort ring your ISP internet sevice provider get them to check your modem for internet access online

You will need to check the wireless settings of the router.
Is there any computer online using the router.
check the IP address on that computer.
If yes then you can open the router set up page on that computer.
router set up page is the page where you can check all the router settings.

its unfortunate that i dont know the model of your system. but any ways on your computer keep taping f7, or f9 or any of the f... that will show start windows normally, safe mode, safe mode with command prompt etc, scroll to safe mode enter and it will log u as an administrator enter the system as an administrator, go to control panel select user account then you can disable the password from there, thanks. and if that does not work the u have to visit google type in sams password remover, log unto one of the favourable options and you will be directed on how to make a bootable cd that can remove the password, thanks. if no head way email me [email protected] i shall give you every details

Is this a Windows log on password or a bios password?

In your internet explorer address bar, type in the ip address of 192.168.1.1 and see if it asks you for a password.

If that isn't it, try 192.168.1.245.

The default password is admin. No username.

Also, go to www.linksys.com and they have free chat support and can walk you through this issue.

Please connect the laptop to the linksys router with the cable provided. On the linksys, connect the able in any port from 1-4. Please do not connect the laptop to the Internet port.

From the start menu, select Run. Type in cmd and press enter. At the prompt, type in ipconfig. On the line that says Default Gateway -> this is the address of the router when connected to the computer and (DHCP being on).

Make a note of the Default Gateway and type it in the address bar in an Internet Explorer window. At the login prompt, leave the username prompt blank and type admin for password.

This will allow you to access the web GUI.
