There's a lose connection on your tv, if you know how to solder you can fix the problem, start with power supply.

The flashing light indicates a fault. These flashes are called blinking codes. Count the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON. Counting of blinks to Philips is not done directly. It is a sort of coded. If you wish to get more details, check the site linked here. Counting procedure to Philips TVs is given in detail. Please keep some time with the instructions. Good day!

Usually that problem is cause of the failing capacitors on the power supply section.
You have to do is open the back cover of your TV and look for the actual image of the capacitor with in the power supply section if it is leak/bulged on the top. Please replaced it with the same type, ratings and value.

Thank you and good luck.

Philips/Magnavox TV, model MS3250C321 shuts off randomly.

TV shutting off automatically means its a problem with the Lamp. Contact Pioneer or any local tech shop or Best buy and get the same replaced.
Turning off after specific time : Go to the timer option and disable the Automatically Switch off option. This will resolve the issue. Please let me know if it worked. If you need the user manual or instruction manula please click on the link below

ctgarden girl, my set does the EXACT same thing! I too wondered if a cold room was an issue. The set is only 4 years old, and I didn't have this problem in my old place where the room was a lot warmer.

Can someone please help?!?!?!?

You probably have a component breaking down on one of the circuit boards. It would have to be checked out to find out which one. Stargazer
