Go to the display properties and make sure there is no screen saver. Also go to the power option and make sure you have selected the never option for turning off the monitor

Black screen

check the display cable,
Sometimes the Ram gets loose from slots , turn off PC, and check hat if you can,
--if recently you changed resolution settings which resulted to this issues, restart computer into safe mode, by keep pressing f8 key when system is starting, and change it back to one that is supported by screen.

My fujitsu dont start vga

When you power up the computer press F8 key then enter in enable vga mode then go to start ->control panel ->display ->settings .
Change screen resolution to 1024*768.
Then apply and ok.
But if you are not able to see any display so you need to refix RAM memory if you are able to enter in safe mode or enable vga mode then there is only issue with graphic driver.
Let me know if you need more assistance.
Thanks.

PC don't start

First check the power supply is ok

Next check motherboard without any hd, mem etc. Do check gfx card is seated properly if not onboard gfx.

Next memory

Next hard disc etc

If you get no display with motherboard with no mem, hd etc then motherboard is gone.

I put my laptop in hibernation mode and I can't get it to come back on. What do I need to do?

Hi sbrinke594,

Power down your laptop by pressing down the power button for about 5-10 seconds. Wait about 20 seconds before powering it on. Once you power it on, right click on an empty space on the desktop and choose properties, next click on "Screen Saver" tab, click on "Power" button, then click on t he "Hibernate" tab and uncheck the box for "Enable Hibernation".

This should help and good luck.

How do i get my siemens v2010 laptop out of hibernation.the screen has suddenly gone dark.the computer turns on and is fine, but you can only just see whats on the screen

You might have to restart the computer if it is stuck in hibernation. The best thing is to go to your settings and turn the Hibernation setting and sleep settings off. Go into your display settings to find this. Also when your computer starts look for the BIOS option to show on the screen to check the BIOS and make sure it is turned off there. To get to the BIOS hit the DEL key or one of the F keys to get into the BIOS. Do not password the BIOS of your Laptop. This can cause a lot of problems if you forget this password. It can not be recovered easy.

Power light turns amber after shut down

Firstly please install Service pack 2, there are too any security problems with service pack one and power settings problems, this can be ordered free of charge from Microsoft or downloaded. When you say it boots up when you plug it in do you mean it comes out of Hibernation and returns to the desktop saying programmes are running or does it do a full boot up. Sounds as if you need to go into the bios to enable ACPI, see this post on how it's done. http://www.fixya.com/support/t121839-monitor_turns_off_automatically. Go into control panel>power options and click advanced tab to make sure the power button at bottom reads 'when i press the power button on my computer' 'SHUTDOWN' Then on the hibernation untick enable to see if it cures it.
