Question about Franklin BIB-1450

My BIB-1450 IS OFF

Hi, I stopped using my BIB-1450 for about two weeks and when I tried to switching it on the next time all I saw was a horizontal line across the screen. I tried the second time and it's been off permanently. Thus when the power button is pressed nothing is comes on the screen though batteires are good. I tried it with the mains but still no sign. What could be wrong? Can I get technical experts to repair for me?

Thanks

According to the BIB-1450 manual, try this:

1. Hold CLEAR and press the on/off button(shaped like a circle). If nothing happens, try step 2.
2. Use a paper clip to gently press the reset button on your unit. The reset button is recessed in a pin-sized hole to the right of the book card slot.
WARNING! Pressing the reset button with more than light pressure may permanently disable your product. In addition, resetting product erases
settings and information entered in its built-in book, and in an installed bookcard.

If all else fails, replace the batteries with 2 new CR2032 batteries. I had a similar problem, and it was caused by dead batteries.

Assuming, you did try the unit in a totally different outlet location, there may be problems with the trigger switch. Call the Kawasaki customer service for the nearest service center 1800-590-3723

Adjusting the saw blade for exactly 90 degrees on an old craftsman 10 " radial saw

If the saw is adjustable for angle we usually use an engineers square against the blade to get it upright and then you may find an adjustable stop or stops somewhere so you can set the position ready for the next time you need to set it.

My saw rev's up higher than an idle when pointed bar down. Idles back at normal when bar level horizontally.

The leaner the saw the better it runs until it seizes. I suspect you have a hole in a fuel line that gets exposed to air when horizontal. Once in a blue moon a carburator acts like this. I would check or replace my fuel lines first, if the problem persists then rebuild the carburetor.

Typical fuel system and a few tips follows:

The IPL (exploded parts list) for your saw is the only detail for fuel line routing and it is sketchy at best; components are displayed but may be on different illustrations.

Leaking outdoor hose bib

ok this is an easy one.  you have what is called a  frost free hose bib.  this is split or has a hole in it after the seat.  the seat is inside the house wall.  you need to cut off the copper inside the house and replace the valve .  if it is not a solder joint than have someone hold back on the copper on the inside and you should be able to spin it off and replace it.  P.S if this is the case make sure you use T-tape on the threaded conection

Dell 1450 wireless adapter

Yes, the driver can be corrupted and you need to reload the driver or better download the latest one and use that instead to make sure your adapter is using the right software for it...

Hope that helps... Don't forget to rate the solution FIXYA thank you
