Question about Bosch Dishwashers
My S9J1B Bosch dishwasher stopped working during a cycle. I cleared some pips out of it and it started to work again. However yesterday I cleaned the dishwasher with bleach to remove dirt and started a new cycle, but it cut out after about half an hour (I think) and there was about half an inch of water at the bottom. There is now no power to the dishwasher. I have removed the water. Does anyone know how I can get the dishwasher power to come back on? None of our light switches are off so it hasn't tripped the electicity in the house - just the dishwasher.
It is possible that some of the pips have been washed down into the drain pump and jammed the impellor, follow the drain hose back to the pump underneath of the dishwasher make sure the d/washer is switched off at the power supply before you attempt this, if you have reasonable mechanical skill you should be able to remove front of pump to clean it.
