V3i refuses to do anything

I have put a vodafone chip into my motorola v3i and the screen comes up with vodafone like it has service but my phone will not make or recieve calls, connect to the internet or send or recieve messages can you help

My motorola is showing me "no service",

hi have u tried a manual netwrk search.....ull have to use the menu and hange the netwrk settings..if the problem persistes plz update me..ill be glad to provide furthur assistance

hi..try a manual setting..thru the menu..ul find a netwrk setting and set the netwrk manually..hope it helps
