Hi,
On the laptop there are no password jumper pins to reset. Kindly call Dell Technical Support and they would give you the reset password after generating the same for you depending upon the model number and the screen code any is displayed.

They can be reached at
800-654-9896.

Make sure know the billing address, or phone number or the company name on which the purchase was made. Otherwise they would not give you the reset password

THANKS

Almost all laptop computers don't have jumper pins to bypass BIOS password. What you can do is to call tech support for your laptop because they can give you a master password for it.

How do i increase my screen size using the Fn button on my Dell Latitude D800?

You may not have the correct video driver installed.
You can download the video and device drivers from Dell WEB site, the support download page. Make sure you select your model desktop or laptop, better still, type in the Service Tag number, it is printed on the label on the bottom of the laptop and on the back or sides of a desktop. (If the Service Tag label is missing then go into the BIOS setting and on one of the BIOS pages, the Service Tag number will be displayed). This will open the page where the specific drivers for your model computer are located. Also make sure you select the Windows of the drivers for your Windows operating system. To make a long story short: My Lattitude D800 has gone completely dead. Is there a way to restore the bios to the factory settings, or something like that? The longer version. Dell Lattitude D800,...

There was a BIOS download from Microsoft for the D800? Weird. Yes as you now know, only install BIOS versions released from the manufacturer themselves.
Well you can try removing the reserve battery, trying to power on to see if that resets it with the reserve battery out.

Is it allowing you to go into the existing BIOS at all? You could download the latest bios from Dell's site and try this. http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&releaseid=R103840&SystemID=LAT_PNT_PNT_D800&servicetag=&os=WW1&osl=en&deviceid=3582&devlib=0&typecnt=0&vercnt=3&catid=1&impid=-1&formatcnt=0&libid=1&typeid=-1&dateid=-1&formatid=-1&source=-1&fileid=133892
You will need a bootable DOS disk to boot to, and flash it.
Flashing the BIOS Dell™ Latitude™ D800 Service Manual 1. Ensure that the AC adapter is plugged in and that the main battery is installed properly. 2. Insert the flash BIOS update program floppy disk or CD and turn on the computer. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen. The computer continues to boot and updates the new BIOS. When the update is complete, the computer will automatically reboot. 3. Press during POST to enter the system setup program. 4. Press and to reset the computer defaults. 5. Press , select Save changes and reboot, and press to save configuration changes. 6. Remove the flash BIOS update program floppy disk or CD from the drive and restart the computer.

Dell latitude d800 will freeze up after 2 -3 hrs . all drivers are up to date. fans work.also battery wont take a charge works with ac jack. battery shows one green dot. did a scan found no problems!!!!...

Driver order is VERY important on Dell portables, Notebook System Software, Chipset and Video drivers should be installed in that order, after that point, the rest can be done as you please.
If not already done, flash the BIOS to current version.
If you do all that and issue still occurs, answer is likely that the system is overheating. Try blowing out the intake and exhaust vents for the CPU cooling and ensure you are using the system on a hard flat surface
If issue still occurs, you might want to replace the CPU heatsink and fan
