Toner How do I change the toner in a canon GP 215? Thank you

Have you tried pulling out toner cartridge and shaking it? Does this fix it for a short period. Make sure you are purchasing a quality toner. Thank you so much. Leave feedback and let us know.

I have solution for this problem now. I tried alot to sought out this C2558 error in bizhub 215 & 195 but i got failed. But now i have a solution for this error after wasting my 2 days & searching data, youtube, website, manual, installation guide & more. Here is solution for this C2558 Error in Konica Minolta Bizhub 215 & 195 :-

Step-1. You need to change your developer(a packet pouch of developer), if you have not done yet. if you have already changed your developer then jump to step2. (Note - for installing & refilling devloper into the cartridge check other guide on youtube for how to re-fill developer.

Step-2. Be Carful there should be no Toner bottle. Don't get confused with tonner bottle & developer both are different. so remove tonner bottel from machine.

Step-3. switch Off & re - switch on the machine .

Step-4. when machine finish warming after that - Press UTILITY (tool) button. Then Enter service mode by pressing the buttons [Stop], [0] [0], [Stop], [0] [1]. (Note you should press this sequence in continous). The display shows the service mode.On the menu SERVICE WITH chioce press [OK].Use the buttons next to the display and select menu FUNCTION.

Step-5. Press [OK].

Step-6. Use the buttons next to the display and select the menu AUTO ADJUST TCR.

Step-7. Press [OK] and set ATDC. For about 2 min. the following message appears: TCR TCR AUTO ADJUST GAIN: ### where ### is the number

Step-8. Turn the machine off the main switch.

(finished if there is no error message , you can check print without tonner bottel. after that if there is no error message of c2258 then you can put bottle inside)

If the machine displays an error message C2557 or C2558, check whether you have correctly connected terminal, which is detached when removing the developer.


Installing the toner bottle :-

Step-1. Before using the toner Shake the toner bottle.

Step-2. Open the front door.

Step3. Insert the toner bottle into about halfway with the label (Tape) on top of the toner bottle, and then slowly Just remove the label from the toner bottle.

Step-4. Align the toner bottle to mark the arrow and push the bottle to the far end of the toner bottle.

The percentage-of-available-toner is based on calculations made by the printer's internal software -- quite different from putting a measuring-stick into an above-ground oil-tank to determine the ACTUAL level.

So, while the calculations say "zero percent left", there still is some toner inside the toner-cartridge, and so it still prints.

Buy a replacement cartridge. When you finally do run-out of toner, install the new cartridge.

Compare it to buying a new quart of milk, and then using the last 1/8 of the quart of the milk currently inside your refrigerator -- use the "old" milk until it is 100% gone, and then switch to the "new" milk.

if the toner ran out and you put new toner it is a good idea to run an f8 you can leave the toner in. also are the optics all clean mirrors ect

The problem is with toner section. The copier cant get toner to toner unit or the toner motor is faulty.
In one case eaven the main pcb caused the problem.

I would try to replace toner hopper assy.

call service.

Because you need to clean and shake the toner unit. When you say " ive been fixing" does it mean that you now what you are doing or?
If yes dismantle the toner unit and vacume it, it may be that toner stucked on "antena" for toner recognitions.
If not - call service

if you heaving line on every page and the same area so i advice you to change your toner or change your toner drum OR tefflon ask any local repairing center to change your toner drum OR tefflon
